at avalon i was on the balcony.....the mixer had one channel up.....conveniently also a cdj was playing continuously..
duvdev was up bouncing up and down twekaing knobs on channels which the faders were down...

erez was faking on a clavia nord lead 3.....playing keys that didn't go at all with the notes that were being heard through the speakers....

they were faking it. Trust me I know what i'm talking about.

however, the dj sset was very good, but i was already a bit turned off by the faking....

as you said in point one....THEY PLAY A PREMIXED CD.!!!! THAT'S BULLSHIT THAT'S NOT LIVE PA THAT'S PLAYING A F@CKING CD......why go out and see them play a cd when you do it at your house?

Escape from samsaa a nyc based psy trance production/promotion company, refused to book certain acts a few years ago (including im) b/c they had to rent, set up all thsie xtra gear, pay them all this money, book them at nice hotels.......and they faked it. sad.

Astral projection.....as much as their live sets blow actually try to mix tracks together and do some live improv...

FOr people Faking live acts I have absolutely no time. It is totally fucking ripping off paying audience, the same with artists that lipsync, If I want to listen to cds I'll stay at home.


Could someone please give me a link to a good online psy shop with good samples, I have tried Psyshop.com and saikosounds, their samples suck balls (I don't know how anyone can expect you to know if you like a tune or not with 30 seconds of sample) Why don't people follow chemical records example and give us 3 minute samples??? Thats why I buy most of my stuff from them.

Can anyone recommend me some psy tunes??

I have just bought Warp experience sampler: Dreamtec - Venus and Bus v Slide - Everyday

That dreamtec song is sweet... it has a more trancy feel though.

OK well since I wasn't there I cannot tell you they didn't but the times I have seen them I know they haven't either because like you I watched and things matched up when I saw them those times.

I like "Cities of the Future" Myself. Good kicking tune.
