Originally posted by bjdesire and second, im not trying to fight here im just saying try to be more open minded, yeah JP doenst go out and play all his own tracks the whole night but what DJ does? that would get boring. JP is more a remixer than making his own tracks, which he does do. and yes he works the crowd, u just gotta be patient, he isnt like some other dj's that just play buildup, breakdwon, buildup, breakdown, he has filler music and stuff. its all a matter of preferance i guess, some people like JP some dont, it all matters what ur preferance of music is and what dj'ing style u like. code:
All I was saying is JP butchers tracks. I was listening to that JP set from Classics night, and it was pretty decent up until he BUTCHERED the ISOS remix of Delerium - Silence.
And that was the only set that Ive heard that didnt bore me because he wasnt looping tracks for 30 mins.

Im sorry, but when someone OD's and dies on an opening night at a club at YOUR event, that says alot about the people that come to see you and yourself.

Originally posted by Vlad I have heard JP in Factory, and I have to say, it had to be one of the wierdest experiences in my life. First of all, I was bored teh fuck out of my mind listening to one track for 25 mins. Secondly, looking at the people in that place, they all looked like zombies. Check out Sander Kleinenberg, Eric Morillo, Dave Seaman, Deep Dish, Nick Warren.

livesets dont really do justice. i just love the experiance.
Live sets don't really do it justice.....what the.....if the live set doesn't do it any justice then there is no justice to be done. What I mean is that any DJ, performer, Band, etc should be banging, off the hook, awesome on there live sets. Yes I am an EDM fan but I also listen to other types of music and I must say the only way to see, hear any type of music is live, if you can't cut it live, then hang up the headphones, take the needle off the record, and sit, down cause you suck and yes that was directed to JP.

Originally posted by BitchBoyNYC WHOA!!!!!!!! Slow down there buddy. I know it's not directed to me, but I just recently went to a JP party with a couple of friends of mine and I had a pretty decent time. I danced just as much as I would normally dance, AND WAS completely sober, no alcohol at all! IMHO, the crowd was pretty cool, not to many "crackheads" or "guidos" or "skanks" There were actually some nice pretty women that were easy to approach and had a decent personality. So you don't have to get "ripped" to have a good time at SOME JP events.
hey heres my .02
some people like jp
some people dont
