Yeah, that ride seriously sketched me out. Never mind the cabbie was more than a bit slow...

Mmm, the beer I had when I got back... they never tasted so good.

Also played: remix of Duran Duran's latest track, "Sunrise"

Too bad Dekoze wasn't on afterwards, as advertised. Not that I would've lasted long with the headache that was brewing.

So how was it?

Hmmmm, I wonder what that was....

"I....am a by-law ENFORCER!!!!"

I'm certainly never going to forget that morning, but too bad I also didn't make it to scumfrog.

P.S. Graham, let me know how your test/essay went. At least you had more time to study.

hahaha
first off just want to say it was great seeing you guys out at the zone...added to the vibe. what can i say..i love this place..sure its sketchy but as most of you first timers saw...the stories are exaggerated (i wouldnt say widely)...follow your few basic rules and you are fine.

damn glad i resist the urge to go back every sunday cuz it would RUIN ME!!!!!!!!!!

Scumfrog was brilliant...a couple of months ago this was just a dream..he is SO SUITED for the zone its not even funny.

Mark the sound cleared up closer to his set...addy spent about 30 mins running around fixing shit...it was definately messed up when we got in...

As for santaclause....BURN mofo BURN!!!!

gee, thanks so much guys...while I merely *liked* the Mylo song after d/l it...I'm now becoming more and more obsessed with it after each listen

it's such a simple production, yet with a really cool sample...I can't explain it...but it's sooooooo good!!!

It's worthy of Mark Oliver "end-of-the-night-track" status, I think

I saw a rip of this track from a Zabiela set floating around, but haven't been able to get it...anyone? did he do anything with it?

HOPEFULLY HE PLAYS IT THIS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So after the dinner on Saturday, Ray and Kevin were practicing spinning while RJ and I waited for the morning to come. We finally got our act together after I took a small nap right before leaving.

We got to the Comfort Zone and waited until things at the door got sorted out. Ran into Diginut before going in but as soon as we stepped into the dark whole, Ray led me the wrong way and we ended up in the darkest corner not knowing where the hell we were. We lok Diginut too and didn't find him until half an hour later. Sorry buddy.

Went outside just to check it out but I never did that again because once you step back in you have to wait for your eyes to adjust again to the darkness.

As we were making our way to the back room but were stuck in traffic, some weirdo started petting me and feeling my hair, telling me it was sweet. Never went that way again.

As for the music, Scumfrog really fit into the Comfort Zone mentality. Dark and dirty were the beats. He interacted with the crowd greatly even when some were falling all over the place at the front. He tried talking over the PA but it was hard to hear so he gave that up.

It was nice to say goodbye to Jesse at the end and he even remembered my name from the dinner before. What a nice guy!!

I would definitely go back to the Zone but only with as many or more people I know.

PS. RJ needs to pursue his dancing career!

I truely thought this one was one for the ages.
I wasn't sure whether to go or not, but was i ever glad i did.
Scumfrog totally was feeling the crowd and the atmosphere, I thought his tracks were amazingly fitting.
I had to leave to get back to my real life and kept saying I'd leave when he played a song I didn't like, but it just never came.
Scumfrog made a fan out of me!
