This is real sad news. I will really miss TAW. It was indeed a great station. Props to all the TAW admins, DJs and members/listeners for providing so much to the trance community. We will miss you..

I just started listening about 2 weeks ago and was listening about an hour ago when the dj said that it was his last set, but he didn't mention why.

Does anyone PLEASE recommend another 24 station with a low bandwith? ETS is too high for me. Thanks.

Party107.com has 32k (if that is what you mean by low bandwidth)
http://party107.com/Party107US32.m3u

if you mean 160k or lower, we have that:

thats terrible! good luck to all the djs who played!! it was great while it lasted! and u went out with a bang!! while u were still on top!

Sorry but TAW, even tho, I never liked it cept Wicked Neo's show and the odd event, still kicks the crap out of the lameass party 107. TAW did have a lot of bad deejays but they were not bedroom deejays playing the latest evil regime tripe like party 107.

I will say that we thought that TAW would never last as long as it did, at least Nige (still a true twat) got it to last 2 yrs.

RIP TAW

aww man, tranceairwaves was a awesome trance station...

I gotta heavy sinking feeling in my stomach

this means no more "outburst" with Timeok or "entranced" with Mike Mackay... great shows like these are going to be missed greatly.

With a lot of optimisim, and a little support hopefully tranceairwaves will come back.

but for now R.I.P. T.A.W.

Thanks again to all those that have tuned into us over the last 2 years

That's a shame. The first time I heard you, was the last.

I'm sure that I speak for others, but if there is anything that I can do to help get it back up (e.g. donation) please PM me. I've donated to TA, but never got around to do the same at TWA. I wish I had.

Sad news indeed, i used to listen to Simon and Luke Terry alot, great djs imo.

I wonder , what did it cost eventually to run TAW each month? (take the last month to take make it easy).

Rough guess (correct me if im wrong) about 600$ usd a month in BW.

I believe thats a pretty good ballpark guess..

indeed some very sad news, I enjoyed TAW a lot!

Yeah there are only a few precious 24 hr sites available.

Check out www.digitallyimported for 24 hr sets. I think that is a very good site and I'm sure you all know about it.

Hmm, i used to listen alot to it, except for the last few months..

I'm certainly going to miss DJ Precision's livesets though! Together with M.I.D.O.R. & six4eight :/

Shame, apparantly it's the way it goes with such things :/

a sad loss

Posted by squirrelly on Nov-23-2004 18:45:

Wow, this sucks. I never get to hear Simon DJ again?

Posted by nec on Nov-23-2004 19:23:

TAW > di.fm, trancesphere, ..
TAW > *

One of the best things in my life in last year. I'll miss it.

Posted by bany on Nov-23-2004 20:11:

And now, we cry.

I am not a very long time on na trance scene, but still, TAW was one of the stations that i listened almost every day. Hope they come back...

Posted by swisstoni_uk on Nov-24-2004 01:54:

no UK trance station anymore......

Posted by r5a on Nov-24-2004 03:14:
