ive heard 5 before somewhere, i cant remember, but that one is the dub version... normally there's a vocal that goes like "sweet love" and repeats.. i cant remember where i have it

also, a friggin horrible mix into island. nice track selection, but how did she get big? i know she produces, but w/ technique like this.. is it only because its a SHE, and SHE's hot????

i mean really that was a mix of jules-esque quality. but worse

I'd just like to comment on the mixing of this set. Bleh, this boy needs some work. =/ I hope he has good headphones, cuz the beats are almost off by a little bit each time he mixes to a new song.

DJ_Ballistic excellent work on the iding of track 13. Darude vs JS16 - Everybody Rock It - this track was also in her Live At Slam FM (05-11-2001) set and is a track that i been wanting an id on for a long time (as well as AndiH - the thread starter - and an xcellent track ider). After this id was put up - btw AndiH thanks for posting a reply in my Astrid thread on RMF under Radio Stations - General forum section where i had the 5-11-2001 Slam FM set up for download - specifically coz i wanted to get the tracklist of that set totally done - it was only missin ids on 2 songs out of 13 - but now only 1 thanks to DJ_Ballistic - the only song left on the SlamFM set not ided is the last one #13 - which takes up last 3 minutes of the 64 minutes that is the set and it is theorized to be a York remix of a track. - SORRY i went off topic here - gettin back to topic - the id that DJ_Ballistic provided is very much appreciated i checked a bunch of vinyl websites to get more info on it - and i think that the official name of the track is actually Boom - Everybody Rock It (Darude vs. JS16 Remix). just thought i would put this up for evryone

by the way i have no idea who Boom is - maybe it has as members both Darude and JS - JS is initials for Darude's producer - Jaakko Salovaara and Darude's actual name is Ville Virtanen.

lol no probs trancer, i've had this track for ages now, and i was just surprised to hear it dropped into a set, and that no one knew what it was called
As for Boom, that might be them, they often remix each others traxx, so i guess it's only natural that they would come together to produce a few

when i first had a shot at iding anything that sprang to my mind too, but i dug up scorchio and despite the similarities i figured it wasn't... figured it'd be like saying that some tune (can't remeber the name now) was a remix of gouryella - gouryella just cause it had the same bass line.

But hey, it's not been id'd yet so maybe...

well, the point of REmixing is usually to make something that's quite, but not entirely unlike the original song ... mixes are a different story - they're supposed to sound similar, but with a twist. the more i listen to track 05, the more i'm convinced that it IS a remix of "scorchio". if someone positively ID's it otherwise, then the song is a massive ripoff

i dont see how this song has much to do with scorchio. I think this song is quite different than scorchio myself. I have the scorchio LP off deconstruction and the only remix on it is Emmerson's Late night dub which is not even close to this song. Keep up the good searching guys. If its a scorchio remix ive yet to see it

ok, this is only a suggestion... coz i haven't listened to this set yet..but track 10 could be 'Kid Vicious - Re-Form (DJ Tiesto Remix)' judging from what all you guys are saying about it's similarities to jan johnston - flesh (tiesto remix).. although i could be wrong..as im saying, i'm only suggesting..i'll download the set soon and see for myself

No, 10 is not Reform, but I do like a lot. It's likely a promo. Almost all of the stuff played later in the set was crap anyway, I don't see why you'd want to ID it.

I think you all have this ID-ed correctly, however it would be interesting to note that the little sound effect that the song plays over and over (some kind of distorted vocals) is the same distorted vocals thingy that is in 'Boom - Boy vs. Girl' on Transport 4. the synths however sound nothing like it.. so.. it might be a rework or they just used that sound effect in two songs.. anyway, just thought i'd post that.
