If you want a good score just drink heavily before you go. It worked for me, I would have gotten liek a negative score otherwise.

got an 1170 .. 770 in Math .. then the rest you do the math .. hahaha ..
i was always a mathematics genius, but when it comes to english, i was, and still am, an underachiever.

same with the act. don't remember what i got, but i do remember something like getting in the lower 30's in math. underachieved in the rest.

1590, if you combine my best math and english scores, which they do for the SAT (or did when I was taking them). I took them three times.

Time one: E 620 M 650
Time two E 800 M 690
Time three E 730 M 790

Everyone knows that if you get a perfect score you get 1610. 800 + 800 = 1610.

when i took it, my score was a 1530, 800 verbal, 730 math.

i am still, to this day, amazed that i got that good of a score on math. i am teh sux at math.

On the PSATs (taking the real SATs later this year) I only got a 930.

way back in the day [5 years ago] when i took the SAT, I got an 1140. i got a 670 on Math [only missed 7 math questions on the whole damn exam], but completely bombed the verbal with a 470. Goddamn analogies!

i got a horrible score on my ACT test...

i was mass nervous and had tons of anxiety...

didn't plan to go to college right away anyways, so i kind of didnt care either though...

few years later i was in a community college, getting academic scholarships, and transferred to university of washington business school and graduated that a few years later...

standardized testing scores only reflect the smarts of the majority. always a few that fuck up for various reasons - like me.

one guy at my school (captain of my ultimate frisbee team, one of the stars of the junior worlds team, and a pretty popular and chill guy) pissed his pants while taking the SAT's
its the funniest thing ever to hear him tell the story
he just kinda calmly raised his hands and asked to go to his car and change
and still did pretty damn well

how old are u now? and how could u take it in 7th grade? for what purpose? and was it the PSAT, or a practice test?

if u can narrow down the choices to just two, just dont answer the question. if you try a question and know its going to take a longer time to figure out than the others, skip it and come back to it later.

oh, and drink monster or red bull and sleep well. and eat breakfast. and pee beforehand.
