People, People, People...thus we forget..IT'S FRIGGEN NEW YEARS....ANY PARTY WORTH ITS SALT IN ANY VENUE COSTS AN ARM AND A LEG....GET OVER IT OR HAVE A HOUSE PARTY WITH YOUR AND YOUR FRIENDS....
I am opposed to creating "classes" within a club. If you pay the cover (whatever it may be) you should be allowed the same access as anybody else (besides the obvious ie. backstage).
I don't go to a club so I can sit by myself and drink premium vodka. I can do that at home.
It is sharing the music with like minded people.
Isn't that the point?
Damn, and by the title of the thread I thought I could book PvD for NYE for 1,100.
The club will clearly make a lot of money, but per person, it's not too overblown for New Years with that kind of talent and the reality is most clubs have some sort of VIP admission for more money that grants you exlcusive access. Bars by me are going for $75 just for drinks, without any music. If you don't like it, you can always get regular admission if it's not sold out.
