Making a CD (10/19/04)
I'm currently making a CD. Its going to be released in 2005. It will consists of some of the best Trance music you have heard! It will be about a hour long. It will consists of the three mixes/remixes i have already made. I will have more information as i give it to the webmaster. So just wait!

i wouldnt do that if i were you, you need to pay for licensing, you cant sell other peoples tracks and call it your own

He's only 15 years old. He obviously doesn't understand the legalities around trying to release remixes of other people's tracks or selling CDs with licensed tracks on them. He's thinking outloud so to say. He has these big dreams and aspirations of becoming a superstar. He just hasn't grasped the reality of the things that he is dreaming of. That tends to come with age. It's one thing to try to sell mixed CDs (with licensed tracks on them) in your own hometown, but I wouldn't be posting that shit on the internet. Just because you remixed someone's track doesn't make it your own. Not if that track was licensed by the original artist. You would either need to release it as a bootleg or you are looking at a potential lawsuit.

Ok there is two things people 1. I have made everything, no more freaking REMIXES!!! 2. I'm doing a New Year's Live Mix , my first ever live mix. You can listen to it if you have, Winamp, Real Player, iTunes. You can find more information on this going to my site http://www.dj-coleman.com. Also might mix this weekend on the radio station , now that it supports more.

i find it good that you arent really getting worked up over the criticsm. at least that is how it seems when you post. just realize that getting your material to release quality takes a lot of effort. if need be, take the criticsm and use it to motivate you. i used to do that when i got shot down with criticsm to try and do better, and i have. good luck mister

Damn you for this!!! I just burst out laughing and almost fell out of my chair in a dead silent computer lab. Ahh, but the procute thing is a classic.

Oh yes, and as for you Coleman, I think you have a horrible tendency to put the cart before the horse so to speak. You have all these huge ambitions (not bad at all) and really no clear plan to get to them. I think you need to do your homework on alot of things. As far as your live NYE mix goes I really hope you aren't doing it on that set-up you posted in the DJ booth. I really can't imagine how that would work.
