Mad hoes in that joint. My crew & I dominated the left part in front of the stage. The blonde kid working the orange strings was part of the NY crew. We are coming back down on the 24th for PVD & Tiesto!.

I go to Glow a lot and thats my only bone to pick with the Glow: You get 3 or 4 guys standing in the middle of the dance floor looking for a girls ass to grind on. I guess it never occured to them that they are taking up dance space and getting in the way of people who are feeling it and want to dance. Then you have the other people who drop $8 drinks on the dance floor - I was dancing next to a group of 4 people who didn't dance the whole night! Thats hard to understand with as much energy that was in Glow that night. One of the guys in this group was high or drunk - he stood up against one of the pillars the whole night. One of the Women in this group dropped two plastic cupfuls of drinks on the dance floor. Why do they waste their money?????

yujie__: i was wearing the bonzai shirt.

what a set. armin really tore the place up.

yes, he did play massive. also, he played airwave - save me, not mysteries of life. he opened with trancesetters - the saga. i also remember avalanches - friendzone. that was a cool track to hear in a club.

i got to meet him and he was really nice. signed my cd.

armin is definitely one of the top djs around. can't wait to see him again!

actually, tiesto will be spinning from 1-5, not 2-4 just to get that cleared up. so i and many other people will have to miss at least some of one of their sets but it should still make out for a great night. and it sounds like i missed a great night on saturday, i didnt go cuz i had no1 to go with (again) but anywhos im def going to see ferry corsten, should be tight. see u all there.

Glow closes at 4.

It's true, Glow usually closes at 4, but Panorama Productions has mentioned that they will be extending close time in order for Tiesto to play an even longer set for Godskitchen, making his set last from 1 am to 5 am. Paul Van Dyk is closing at Radiate, his set being from 11 pm to 2 am, so it is going to be tricky to catch as much of each set as possible from the 2 DJs. Also keep in mind, that if you decide to leave Radiate as soon as it's over at 2 am, you will get caught in the masses of people leaving, so don't expect to get out of there very quickly. Ahhh.... sacrifices... Glow is approximately 15 minutes by car from the DC Armory.

Are you sure about that, pal? I've heard it's more like 45 min.
Anyhow, I will attend PvD's performance and then, like every single one of you, leave the Armory and head over to Glow@Insomnia, to see Tiesto

Alright, so everyone stops acting clueless (hehe), here is all you need... From the DC Armory to Glow:

Question

Tix for Tiesto in advance are $15...how much do u think they will be at the door?

Well, I bought tickets online for AVB last week for $14 and they were selling them on the door for $15. That's not to say that Tiesto won't be different. Also, if you've prepaid online I think you can just walk up and get your tickets and go in rather than wait in line to get them. I'm SO looking forward to seeing him again. Glow is a much more intimate club compared to World or Limelight - you can practically get next to the DJ booth!

True. I don't think we are gonna buy tix online. If the line is too long & its already late we aren't gonna bother.

Posted by djdl on Nov-08-2001 22:19:

if they're $15 in advance, then im thinking that it will be $20 at the door, no garauntees tho. but if u buy tix online, u dont have to wait in line, u cant just use the express line they have

Posted by Eugene on Nov-08-2001 22:58:

Well, I already bought the PvD AND Tiesto tickets on-line, and I don't understand why you wouldn't do the same. I mean think about, Nov. 24 will be the night of a lifetime, two greatest DJ's on one night 15 min. away from each other! If I were you I WOULD "bother"

Naturally I'd LOVE to see both but I don't know how long it will take to get outta the armory at 2 (when EVERYONE is leaving), drive to Glow (12 mins approx), & find parking. I hope we'll be able to catch at least 2 hours of Tiesto.
