1st attempt. My driving instructor called me his best student ever. He even took off the stupid student driver thing on his roof for my lessons. He even let me do 360s on snow covered side roads.

1st try, but only barely i got 13 minor faults and you're allowed 15. though i did all my manouevers perfectly, no faults for them :/

Passed the driving part, luckily, on my first try. Parents pressured me to pass by making me pay for the test myself. I think it was $40 per attempt.

Anyways, I got 65 points, which isn't great. Basically if you get more than 75 points, you fail. I was so damn nervous. Even when i was told I'd passed, I was still nerve-wracked(sp?). What did I get marked down for? 2 attempts needed for parallel parking. Not double checking through the rear side windows when backing up. 2 attempts needed for hill parking. Ugh, not cool at all.

The written part is a little different. I failed it by one question. needed to get at least 17/20. Alas, I got 16. Almost all my friends passed, so of course they'd rub it in. However, none of them have taken the road test (driving part), so it's my turn to rub it in. I love it.

Passed both on the first try. Got 100% on the drive test.

First time. I was hometrained and challenged the DMV test. Saved my parents $700.

Got it on my 1st attempt. But that's due to my mad skills!

learnt to drive when i was 14, so when i finally took my license it was more of a formality

I did it through HS in Drivers ED. Well my lack of doing test and studying for them got me into failure I hated the test that you had to do and the stupid workbook you have take. But it was damn easy, lol, I just copied off of my friends test(pre-test). I got my IP after doing x amount of test. But I was one of the last people who they took to drive cause I was lazy with my workbook. I remember though when they finally picked me to drive I was nervous like fuck. I couldn't stop shaking.

They take two and I was the 2nd driver, I did alright though, once I wasn't so nervous, then after doing all my workbook in one day(I had to spend one day in detention, and it drives me insane doing nothing for that long of a period so I decided to do some work. Since I completed everything, I finally was able to drive more, and as each time I drove it got easier and I got a B I think. I never even really even got any practice before entering Drivers ED also, only a couple times when my sister let me.

Last thing I had to do to get the Paper which I then go to the DMV(think thats it)was take a test and I nailed that mother******. I only missed like 3 questions out of over 50.

The shittiest thing that fuckin happened though was, I fuckin lost that paper thanks to my mom. I was going to put it in a safe place, but my mom told me to put it in this dining cabinet sort of thing. Well bad idea since it wasnt there no more, I think my dad threw it away or something. This totally pisses me off, cause I did all that work for shit. Plus I dont want to do all of this over at the DMV, especialy since I forgot mostly everything, so when it comes to the written part I will most likely fail. Not to mention the driving part, which is going to be hard, since it isn't like Drivers Ed, and Im going to be nervous as fuck Especially on the Damn Highway, when I first did it was on Drivers Ed, talk about BAD ANXIETY

Guess I should start practicing more driving again, since Im probably rusty.

2nd attempt. First try => didn't see stop sign => "you fail!"

Posted by jam.iii on Feb-14-2005 07:34:

first attempt for me, no problem. only thing was i hit a fuckin bird during my test, smack the windshield and fell on the hood... startled the shit out of me and the lady said "don't worry, we don't deduct points for that"

Posted by Geoff on Feb-14-2005 08:47:

whoever did it in 5+ i'm hoping ur not from bay area, cali

Posted by prolikewhoa on Feb-14-2005 13:42:

haha we don't have a driving test in texas. y'all suck. i rule!

only downside to that, is we have to have our permits for 6 months before we can get a license...and for the first 6 months of having your license, you have to have someone 21 or over in the front seat with you if you have more than one person under 21 in your car. unless you're driving family. make sense?
