awww uber cute! i love the pitbull one.. GORGEOUS EYES!!

i have three kitties at home and no dogs. we used to have a german sheppard but it died after 15 years. it was sad it still gets me all choked up when i think about it and its been about 10 yrs since it happened. he was an amazing dog.

my ex's mom breeds west highland terriers. theres always puppies at that house, and the grown dogs act like little puppies the whole time anyway so that was always fun. SOOO CUTE. i miss them

Posted by Zombie0729 on Dec-08-2004 05:02:

thanks everyone i will admit, as far as i can tell pitbulls get a really bad rap. she has been nothing but loyal to me.

and thanks for the comments, her eyes are like neon grey in the winter and neon blue in the summer.

her coat stays like grey/blue all year but she has amazing markings on her chest & forehead (of course the paws too)

am i the only one that thinks it's creepy that her dog has clothes on?

Posted by NiteMer on Dec-08-2004 19:04:

Cutest Pit I have seen. If trained right they are fine. It's usually the case with dogs. However, there are some instincts that can't be killed. Make sure you are the master of the dog and you shouldn't have any problems.

i was too busy looking @ her sister to notice. maybe if she took her clothes off it would be less 'weird'?

I was gonna say that so far the Shepherd in my dog would make him win in a fight with any of these dogs, the earlier pit cause it's really young, but, with the new addition, my dog would get waxed.

what is the weight of your dog? and head size?

we're worried my pit is going to push 100lbs++

Posted by Gunyouken on Dec-08-2004 19:54:

My dog isn't a pit, it's a staffordshire bull terrier

It weights prob around 16 kgs, but it's strong like shit, I have yet to find another dog that can tow like him. my mom can't hold him on a leash, he pulls her over and drags her around on her stomach.

Interessting fact for all you dog people: A staffordhire bull terrier is the only dog that can retract it's eyes into their sockets, this they use when in a fight so their eyes are protected, they also drop their tail between their legs for protection of genitals rather than a sign of fear. In a fight they will also tighten their skin around their bodies so that there aren't loose flaps of skin for the other dog to get hold of. It's basically a little tank.

The one vet I took my dog to for his shots, breeds them, he showed me the eye thing by sticking his thumb in my dogs eye, his thumb went in past the joint, it looked fucking terrible, and the dog was just standing there like nothing happend.

Actually pit bulls are a breed on their own, but people tend to mix them with mastiffs to get a more agressive dog and/or bigger dog, for fighting purposes. Over here I have seen a guy that crossed a pit bull with a Boerbull (A SA breed of dog that is similar to a mastiff, but with a much more unstable temperament) The pups looked very nice indeed, but I would never want one, those things just scare me.

Best dogs in the world. I had a staffi for 16 years, then had to put him down and I miss the hell out of him. Brought him from South Africa to Canada.

They are a much smarter and safer alternative to all the people who get pitbulls. Similar dog, smarter and more controlled.

The puppy is ridiculously cute, as well as the other dog pictures i've seen. The dog is wearing a pink polar fleece jacket because it is -20 C in calgary right now and she is tiny and we were outside and i wanted her to stay warm, she is a bit of a wuss too. My sister will be in TO within the next week and i am sorry about not posting in ages.... i am in school and i don't have the internet at home or school. Yes my sister is cute and i'm sorry for sparking sadness in those who once had a golden retriever and died, or any other dog for that matter. And that cat is really cute too.

"Developed from the Bull and Terrier types of yesteryear"
