However much i loathe the bashing going on in here, posting a thread about an unreleased tune you haven't heard in a forum called "CD Reviews / New Releases Discussion" is wrong and borderline stupid, and people who doesn't get that has a pretty poor understanding of the words "review" and "release".
There is actually a forum available for exaclty this type of thread called "Music Discussion", and i can fully understand why threads like this one annoys alot of people (hell it annoys me, and i am not easily annoyed).

So why do people get annoyed over this? Well some of us don't have endless amounts of time to use on sifting through every thread made in here, so we subscribe to the forums that have our interest, and when we see a thread about an artist/producer/dj we enjoy, we tend to use our precious time checking it out.

Now when you say "just ignore it", the problem is, we won't know it's yet another thread we should "just ignore" until it's too late, because by then we have opened the thread, and found, yet again, that it is off topic, and a waste of our time.

The reason these "ASOT" threads exist is simple. The more ASOT tunes, the more tunes most of users download.Hell even if it isn't released most of the time there are available for download some promo mp3's.So here is your reason and not <>,<>,<> etc.Give us a brake,if it'll be released in a month you can make a thread in a month, whatever. As for the track i'll listen a sample when it get's released.

Make it that, how on earth can you place Markus's remix higher then the original. Where Ridgewalkers worked many hours on it Markus just took al his standard shitty samples to creaty some cheesy intro and just past the complete Andy Moor remix behind it. Markus has become such a sell-out, he didn't had one interesting remix for almost a year. Luckily for him he got hyped by Armada for ages

at the end of the day you dont buy a track cos so much effort went into it, you buy it because of what it sounds like. you could make a track in 5 mins that is the tune of the year, or make one in 6 months that is utter, shite- which one would you buy?

I actually agree with your comments about markus though, i've been saying that for ages.

+1 more.... If I want to know what's new being played on sets/ASOTs, I could check the tracklist forum.

This forum is for info and discussion of new releases on vinyls or CDs not for what you heard on ASOT.....

Some ppl (like me) come in this section of the board to check on what's being release

Here are the rules for all the n00bs that just join the forum:

Also, when commenting on a track or a CD type out the details properly (Artist/Track Name/CD Title/etc.).

Copying & Pasting the directory name of something on your hard drive isn't exactly easy to read.

Thanks.

BTW...Andy Moor rmx or Original all the way

i guess u still don't get the point.....

only if there are no rules in this world

Posted by TSI_AWD on Dec-15-2004 18:53:

kyau and albert are wicked producers, but they just ruined FIND, the ANDY Moore remix is awesome, it was dramatic, and these guys mde a funky kind of remix, which ruined the track, it's not meant to be like that....so this remix is a thumbs down..they just wanted to jump on the bandwagon of a popular track i guess

Posted by Hanki on Dec-15-2004 21:28:

I like Kyau vs. Albert productions and remixes, bu this time, after listening to this remic few time I think, that they made a mistake remixing this one... Of course there are some interesting moments here, especially with the vocals, some similiarities with Falling Anywhere and Made Of Sun, but generally speaking this remix is nothing compared with Andy Moor Remix... This one should be untouched IMO...

lol not meant to be like that i guess you can feel it like that but the original is very funky/housy or whattever you call it while the Andy Moor remix is more Trancy.. havent heard K&A mix yet but if they made a "funky kind of remix" that is not jumping any bandwagon (i cant remember Kyau/Albert proucing anything but trance so if they did now that is cool/original of them)

Posted by NoisyNeil on Dec-16-2004 09:58:

I'm not too keen about his remix of Kyau vs Albert, they shoudn't have touched this one! And I think the timing isn't to good either, the Andy Moor Remix has been out for quite a time so I think that a lot of people already have lost interest in this track.

No affence towards Kyau vs Albert, they've done a lot of good productions of remixes... but this is rather dissapointing

What are the lyrics to this, after the opening 'the day is short' repeated bit?

Posted by Bemps on Dec-20-2004 15:21:

good point. The original baroque release has been out since early summer. It is now December and won't be released until January. That is far too long to see a release of another remix imo. As amazing of a track as "Find" is, I've already obsessed about it over the summer only to find more people crazed about it in the fall and it needs to have a classy exit. The Kyau vs Albert mix isn't too bad, and had it been released a while ago would be great.

Posted by [B-O-F-H] on Dec-20-2004 17:33:

Seeing as I know a bit more about the life of this track than most n00bs here, the reason it's taken so long for remixes to appear is because initially the track wasnt picked up upon by all your favourite gods, and it was only when it was suggested that copies be sent to the likes of Armin etc that they begun to take interest.

From there, Armin then decided he would sub license it for release on one of his own labels, which obviously takes some time to sort out due to all the contract and legal issues, plus having to allow Baroque the time to sell copies of their own 12" before releasing more mixes to the market.

Just because its taken a while means nothing. A good track doesnt decrease in greatness with age. The problem lies in thst moat people seek hot tracks and once they have them they are bored and onto the next thing. Music is a throwaway thing to so many people here, especially those who tend to download more than they buy.

They always leave the best till last,
heaven is standing no questions asked,
you find yourself in what you see,
you find yourself in me,
you find yourself

The day is short, the night is cool,
and this night was made for fools,
you wont find fools like me and you,
i found myself in you,
you find yourself

something along those lines i think

Just finally got a chance to listen to this track... I'm luvin it!!

Thumbs up!

I find it hard to believe, but I think I might actually like this track more than the Andy Moor Remix! It's on the harder side and there's slightly more variety throughout the structure of the song, compared to the Moor version.

In any case, both tunes are killer!

+1

9/10
