Yeah exactly, how would they know, unless it said how many megapixel it was, but I doubt they would check. Bit werid really though, you can still take good pictures with a 4MP camera anyway!

Yes I went to TE in 2003 and 2004! It's blinding....

There is quite a lot of amenities, few places to get food. I didn't see much in TE2004, but didn't look, but in TE2003 there was a massive food hall with loads of options.

With drinks, you have to buy tokens and then go to the many bars and pay for drinks with them. It's something like 2 EUROs for 1 token and I think a beer is 1 token a vodka redbull is 2 tokens, etc etc... prices aren't bad really!

I'm counting the minutes now, but have just got this damn cold and feel like shit so I'm sitting here listening to tunes and drinking loads of orange juice!!!

PREPARE TO DANCE!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm looking forward to my night at stansted airport tomorrow night =/ flight leaves on saturday at 6:45am.. so going to sleep at the airport.. well, try anyway! have to work late tomorrow night as well - so i'll be pretty pumped up too!

i'm going to assume that water will cost about 2 as well or something.. can't be more than beer right?!?

Posted by DJSi on Feb-10-2005 16:55:

I guess so, I never bought much of that when I was there, not that I can remember anyway!!! All the drinks are around 1, 2 or 3 tokens depending on the drink...

Posted by Jubas on Feb-14-2005 13:39:

haha

um

wow.

i didnt sleep at the airport on friday night, nor during the day on sunday. i hit 65 hours without sleep.. great feeling :P

that night was...

superb. i can't think of a word to say it correctly. divine comes close, but there's no such thing as perfect.

DJs.. i couldn't pick a best one..
Production.. out of this world.. lasers, lights, strobes, FIREWORKS - timed to the beat, grand piano in the middle of the dancefloor on a raised platform - it just BLEW ME AWAY.

more of a review when i'm not at work/f***ed/busy as all hell speaking to the press =/

PREPARE TO DANCE?!
PREPARE TO RECOVER!

Posted by DJSi on Feb-14-2005 18:53:

Cool

Yes it was AWESOME!!!

Judge played his usual stuff and Eddie fucked up a lot which was annoying...

Rank 1 were blinding, I just loved it when they brought in Airwave and all the fireworks went off and ALL the lasers came on...

AVB was excellent...I love that 24 tune!

Ferry played some super classics...

Johan was a bit poo imo

Just annoyed it wasn't broadcast, so I can't relive it
There better be a DVD!

Hi

First time at TE and defo going back next year. Rank1 was my fav, agree the lightshow was awsome, strobes, lazers and great tunes! The build up was annoying though but soon as they got into airwave and beats it was great.

Spoke to a couple of people from the UK, a few sad we were mad for going out there just for TE, well worth it though. Johan was not as good as I expected though still not bad. No twisted, born slippy or gielen mix of airscape - sosei arrgh!!

The tunes in general seemed alot harder than previous years, no build in in people's sets, straight into the harder stuff I found. Nice to hear some system F stuff at the end of Armin's set, thought he would not play any.

Never heard Yoji before but think he should stay at Sensation black edition, good light show though.

Overall great event, totally knackered by the time we got back to mates place at about 9am! Nice pizza at the train station though at 7am

Managed to find Trance energy 2003 CD + DVD in a local shop so bought that, see the 2005 CD is out on Friday but no DVD

Yeah, I have no idea why they did all that video recording if there isn't gonna be a DVD... would be nice if they told us or replied to my emails about it!

I love videos, especially with lasers and events I was at, would pay dearly for them...

Totally agree on those points.. i was ready to 'get going' *cough* right on time with Rank 1 starting.. but the build up lasted forever.. you could see the crowd getting restless i found, especially since JJ and halliwell played quite a pumping set.

it was also weird - something i couldn't put my finger on previously - was that you're right, there was very little build up. i guess it's because there was such little time for each dj really. i'm used to 3 hour sets minimum. 1.5hrs is hard to build anything, and include top tracks..

I thought yoji's set was quite cool.. i only stayed for the first half hour or so, but found it strangely refreshing to hear something a little harder. His stuff (especially that track with the opera singer) was quite uplifting hard i found..

Posted by wey_rich on Feb-17-2005 16:16:

Yeah I guess with the choice of so many tunes to play you can't have much of the set playing soft stuff as you would only get chance to play a few harder tracks at the end. I think the 2002 sets are a good example but even the 2004 set of gielen's started off soft and got more into it. Worked pretty good though, but I really like some of the softer tracks(S+G - beauty of silence, push - the legacy, real uplifting trance) and at times my ears were hurting from the megga loud bass, so a bit of variation would have been good.

Yoji was funny, just looked at my mate and laughed when his set kicked in, we went to the bar to use the rest of our tokens and left. Could still hear him when we were by the train station :-)

Still gonna go back next year though.
