One year, my hippie auntie gave me "open space" spray.

Just spray it into the air, and it gives the illusion you are in a wide open space, perfect for city apartments, home, or office.....

(I dunno what the hell open space is sposed to smell like) It smelt horrible, I choked, and while I was screwing up my face in disgust, I managed to say "great presant, thanks" (and she believed me too)

this wasnt a one-off event either. they are notorious for scrooging in the gifts department.
my mum went to a bit of trouble and spent about $50 on some really nice hamper thingy, and what did she get in return?

*another drum roll*

A 750g block of chocolate. retails at about $2.50 if my retail memory serves. xmas shopping at woolworths?? and my poor sis got some shit toiletries that had obviously been nicked from some 2nd rate hotel.

my grandma's the funniest- one of my cousins (no, not the jewish, buys-pressies-from-hell one) left a bunch of books at her place sometime, and she gave them to him that christmas. he wasnt quite sure what to say

my ex-gf dad once gave me this hawaaiian shirt with an almost fluoro colours(!) the palm trees was green reflective and it was blue.. not good blue.. but tacky blue!! .. i went up to her and ask what was he thinking when he got me that shirt...

just because i'm a geek doesn't mean i'll ever wear an article of clothing which will humiliate me until kingdom come...
