i m not an expert far from it but if you like french rap then listen to FUNKY FAMILY aka F.F., don't know if i read the whole thread right but i m quite surprised nobody mentioned it yet. Funky Family are essential in the french rap scene, and their rap is not too commercial, so we can call it good rap even i m not into this genre at all.
Listen to the song "art de rue", even me likes it
