I heard that they don't play clubs or tour anymore because of Thomas Bangalter's concern for his hearing.

Is this true?

will check it out when it's released

they are one of many reasons why I got started in electronica

yes, I heard that too...

jesus christ clubs are so fucking stupid.

I cant beleive how many people enjoy excessively loud music. The only reason clubs don't repel customers with their volumes is because half the people have already tempered their ears with their stupidly loud, and expensive car systems.

does this mean theyll be doing any live sets... cause damn daft punk do some of the best live sets ive ever herd...

It depends how you want to interpret it.
Generally yes.

Smiley DJ

I'm really looking forward this album. Will they change their style again as they did with Discovery?
We'll see.

Posted by razmataz on Dec-26-2004 19:59:

Looking forward to it. I hope they go back to their "homework" style. That album remains a classic with me.

I love Daft Punk, and I refuse to believe they are human.

isn't that a little bit illegal/forbidden in here?

...oh yeah, it's a nice track, too.

I think it's only "ok" by Daft Punk standards. It isn't very interesting at all. Hopefully the rest of the tracks on the album have more hooks, because this track isn't very catchy in my opinion. However, it does sound like a compromise between the styles on Homework and Discovery, which is nice.

They're groovebots from planet Funktonia!

Its not often that I feel an artist should stick to a forumula. Hell, I love everything about Radiohead, but I was still dissapointed when Hail To The Theif turned out to be an "Ok Computer 2" album, as Thom York himself called it (he also said the band will never do that again)

Yet, I was hoping this album would sounded like discovery...judging by this track I would still say it could.

BTW...watch my robot too the song...its not quite there, but close enough. We're still working out the algorithm.

woah I dont even remember posting that.

But, yes they certainly do, however music doesnt go much anywhere without people being able to hear it, and if people went to some clubs very regularly they might not hear music down the road a few years... All I meant was that clubs are stupid for playing music so excessivly loud.

I think its horrible when artists have to stop performing due to this.

Whoa, best news I've heard this year. Even better than the end of ASOT.

I can't wait, the genius of Thomas Bangalter is back!!!!
