So what is to be called trance? I'm ok with calling Oakenfold progressive trance, because back then, noone played the stuff he did, except the producers that made the tracks.

It is a lost cause to try and communicate with this person and the others like him. They are here for only one reason -- to spread their negativity and hatred because they are "Chronic Complainers" -- which is a real condition. Nothing anyone says to them will make them stop.
