I hope you're right about his ability Circus but to be fair he hasn't been tested in Scotland and I heard he was poor against Auxerre. The only game I've actually seen of him was the pre-season friendly at St James' Park and Rangers conceded 4 goals but I remember him looking strong and good in the air against Shearer and he seemed to have pace to burn as well as strength, but your whole defence was a mess that day. If he's in the France squad and touted as the next Desailly then he should be up to the Premiership (which our current centre backs aren't). His first game will probably be against Yeading in the FA Cup, so we're really throwing him in at the deep end

Shall we sing, shall we sing
Shall we sing Boumsong for you?
We've got Baba-yaro
He is quite good you know
Better than Luis Figo
And Adriano
He comes from Nigeria
And plays for the Toon
We only just signed him
Along with the Boum
His name's Babayaro
We needed him soon
Cos with our defence
We were sure to go doon
Boum! shake shake shake the toon!
I hate to say it, but Rio Ferdinand stands out.
When he was gone, ManU scum defence was total shite. Now that he's back, their defence is steady and 3rd on EPL right now.
John Terry is quality also. Well, more because he seems to be able to score from corners.
