You can download a set called Continental Airlines Mix part 1 (52 MB file) from www.dannyhowells.com

Maybe that will give us an idea of how GU27 will sound like.

That mix is a very old mix (1yr +)

I dont think it will have any tracks that will be on his GU release

1) Philly - DJT
2)
3)
4)
5)
6) UNKNOWN - UNKNOWN (DLC REMIX) [PEACHES LABEL] <-what is this guys!!!?!! C'MON!!
7) The Jackals - Jack Ain't Back (Dessous 34)
8)
9) Nuboy & Sebastian Gamboa - Journey Into The Keys
10) danny howells - sex machine

That's BULLSHIT. That is the T/L of his mix for Continental Airlines and will have nothing to do with his GU mix.

read before you post people...

Anyways, great news. The 24/7 cd was quite a treat. A much needed direction change for the GU series.

are you sure #6 is on peaches?? I've tried listening to all of the releases off that label & can't find anything...

Danny Howells, he is only good live in my opnion, and that is only when he is cracked out of his gore. Otherwise he is just an average DJ. With him its all about the vibe of the room.

Posted by Tigo on Dec-30-2004 20:27:

r u kidding me?? he is waaaay above avarage!! i cant really comment on him being cracked out....because i have never heard or seen him do any drugs...i woudnt doubt it tho.....but the man has a style that no one can duplicate!!!

Have you ever seen him live??

Posted by Tigo on Dec-30-2004 21:56:

fuck yes......twice actually.....once on July 4th b2b with Sasha....and again a few months later....and just to add something else.....Dj's have good nights and bad nights...maybe just maybe when u saw him live he was ok.....but when he plays in LA or any other major city at that...they fuckin blow the roof off!!! that is all

Posted by Durrrtysouth on Dec-31-2004 00:03:

I think you misunderstood me, I think he is great live, but his cds and radio sets are average to me. What makes DH good is seeing him live. The vibe he sets is Always right on, he is crazy! But that doesnt translate well onto his CDs.

I like that I don't know any of the tunes and most of the artists...it's nice when you get a hold of a CD at a local record store and you can listen to all the tracks for the first time.

Posted by Plastick on Feb-04-2005 07:31:

Danny Howells is da leet! Altho I have not seen him live(he's suppose to be v.good), the sets that I've heard by him are good and they killed me.

Posted by Stanza on Feb-04-2005 11:15:

Haven't really heard much from this guy. As long as he doesn't have any funky house tunes in his mix then I'm happy

Posted by 303 on Feb-04-2005 11:20:

im quite excited about this new release, not only for i know gu never dissapoints, but also cause i know danny knows his stuff very well

Posted by Gavarylka on Feb-04-2005 13:02:

If by "funky" you mean "deep and soulful" then yes, there will be many of them.

Posted by torontotrance on Feb-04-2005 15:08:

wait till nick warren then or if you still find that boring go find Luke Slater's new mixCD on React

Posted by Lebezniatnikov on Feb-04-2005 15:19:

Danny Howells > All... I'd love to see him live... if it weren't for school...

Posted by bas on Feb-04-2005 18:10:
