been growing mine for like 6 months. it's not necessarily an option i took, it just sort of happened when i stopped getting haircuts 
basically, i had short hair, spiked, for like 4 years. i'd let it grow a bit each time, till it was a bit too long to spike, i'd normally gel and comb straight backwards. what pissed me off about getting such a hair cut, even though i loved the look and the comfort it gave me, is my hair grows FUCKIN FAST, so the doo was weakened quickly. considering the place i get my hair cut is somewhat expensive (everywhere else i've tried, they FUCK IT UP BADLY) i started putting it off, and then didn't feel like getting a cut altogether.
currently 2 inches further down than my chin or so, i rock a ponytail a lot of the time, makes things easier, and if your hair is clean, and you wear the ponytail for a while, makes it really manageable. it's somewhat high maintenace, as you become concious of it, since it's long, and i've really learned a lot about hair care (to tell the truth, i didn't even know what conditioner was when i used to have it short). i'm even a bit curious to see what would happen if i took as much care of it as i do now, only it was short. hmmm.

spikey haircut, had it for years, dont plan on changing any sooner...
thing is my hairs are pretty rebel, they wont stay the way I want if I dont use gel, so I just get them wet, put some gel on and shake it all.. it gives random results that are usually pretty satisfying

The look suits me i think cause everyone i know says i look better with this haircut.

i have gone through quite a bit of hairstyles in my day...first started out as a general crew cut then i figured thats lame as hell so i went for the shaved head and it was ok then i let my hair grow nice and long. the only problem is my hair is thick and curly on the counta me bein arab...so when it gets long it doesn't like to style. so anyway then i tried this faux hawk when it was brand new and cool and i like it alot but then everyone and their mother started sporting one so it had to go...then i tried this new faux hawk where instead of just being the top of the head it went all the way down...that was badass but cuz my hair is curly it didn't work after day 3 heh. so i let my hair grow long again now its back to shaved...its a #3. i think it looks good this way. if only i had white people hair i would be so hot

My current hairstyle. I used to spike it in the front until I went to the salon and was told that it looked like a duck-billed platipus.
do you guys bring pictures of haircuts you want with you to the salon...i haven't done it in the past, but i'm thinking about it this time hehehe...******s never get it right
