i might as well post here .. this year's ncaa looks very interesting .. yes boston college lost to notre dame, which looks like a real sleeper when chris thomas is on fire .. they could play those upset roles as a 9 or 10 seed in the tournament ..

illinois looks very good .. it's good when one team is good overall with a great record, but a team is great when they play better on the road, than at home .. in the beginning, i thought illinois was one of those fluke teams that would eventually lose when they get into conference play .. well after watching them handing teams big whoopings away from illinois, i was proven wrong .. this team can go very deep, as long as no one gets hurt .. and the conference tournament seems to be the time when big teams bend over and take spankings ..

as much as people say the acc looks very deep (duke, wake, nc in top top 10, maryland, gt in the wings on the outside) .. the sec is something to look at .. kentucky looks very good .. florida looks all right and could beat some top 10 teams on a given night .. lsu is showing a lot of spunk right now .. tennessee, arkansemiss st look good .. it's going to be a brutal fight between the acc and sec ..

instead of a acc vs big ten matchup in the beginning of the year, i think we should see an sec vs acc matchup .. that would look very good ...

the big east looks good with syracuse and uconn leading the way, and pitttsburgh (what happened to them .. a top 5 team in my book before the season started) and notre dame on the outside .. i think this year is going to be a very hard year for the mediocre teams in big conferences and good teams in smaller conferences to get into the 65 team bracket ... memphis, ohio state, georgetown, and many big 12 teams ...

I watched the Duke Vs. north carolina game and from just watching them play each other i don't believe either of them will advance past the sweet 16.Duke seems to be way too in love with the 3 and UNC just played sloppy in a big game.My kentucky Wildcats look incredibly shakey going into the last leg of the season and i think any team with a big front line can out muscle illinois, but Dee Brown and company play with alot of heart.I am picking Syracuse as somewhat of a dark horse to sneak into the final 4.

FIrst off, NCAA basketball is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than the NBA.
Not even a contest. MUCH more passion, and most of all, much more
a TEAM game. The NBA is almost exclusively one-on-one.
Altho i have to say teams like Phoenix play like a team.

I've ALWAYS been a North Carolina fan, and i will remain one.
The loss to Duke was TOUGH, but we'll be ready for March.
Cant believe Illinois is STILL unbeaten - may enter
the tournament that way even - not the tuffest schedule left....

Nice win by BC today over Syracuse, looking good for them despite their defeat to Notre Dame.

Almost tourney time baby!!!

oh baby! .. march is going to be very interesting .. things are shaking up a lot in the sec and acc (the top conferences in basketball, in my opinion) .. i give kudos to the big east, big 10, big 12, and pac 10, but you can't beat the competition the sec and acc teams give out every year ..

looks like illinois will come out undefeated .. one sleeper that no one is talking about is pacific .. top 20 ?? i saw them play once .. i don't know if it is enough to judge them or not, but they have a strong inside game .. who saw the duke/wake game ? brutal .. duke better start getting that starting lineup set for march, or some #13/#14 seed will make them their "upset of the tourney" ..

almost bracket time baby! ..

who saw that thriller clemson-virginia tech game ?? omg .. .. that's all i have to say .. i thought reggie miller's 8 in the final seconds against new york was a big shock, but what clemson pulled on v tech was unbelievable ..
