After reading this thread and some e-mails I received it became apparent that this had to be done.

TA 5 Year will be happening within the 'Together As 1' Party @ The Docks on Feb 12th - it will be in the Smirnoff Lounge and it will be 19+ just like last year.

More details/lineup to follow.

That is awesome!

Having it at the same venue (although different, private room for 19+ only) is great!

This will give some of the TOTA folks to experience a Destiny event if they so choose (which I recommend, check it out!) and the people that are were already going to Destiny to come to the TA 5 Year as well! 2 great parties - all available for our enjoyment! SWEET MEAT!

I HATE my life ... I had a chance to improve my schedule, but the devil's luck only made it eve more complicated for months to come. There is a very very low possibility that I might attend this one, or any other events in the next several months. Its a complicated story, but the point of it is that I am just very unlucky ... luck is rarely on my side.

Yea, luck is usually not on my side either... infact, luck hates me.

Very few of my friends like trance... and those that do, can't go. And I can't go by myself.

So i guess i won't be attending either. It's such a perfect date too, the weekend right after my mid-term exams.

Tell me about it ... not one of my casual friends/work people/acquantances, not even my best friend - they dont like trance, not even talking about listening to it / owning any EDM CDs, other than absolutely disgusting cheese. I got like noone to talk to here about EDM ...

My best friend and roommate is cool, he likes rock music, and he "pretends" like he likes trance and house music, says he likes Paul Van Dyk, but he almost never listens to the EDM stuff I gave him, and can not distinguish the differences between tracks (like the time today he said he heard MIDWAY - AMAZON tune before when he went with me to Guv in January of 2004, but thats not possible, cause I knew the tune for a while, and it wasnt played.

Sucks ... sorry I spilled it in this thread, totally useless information.

Another reason other that I most likely wont be able to come, is that I dont like the Docks as the place to do the 5 Year Anniversary ....

Yea, same here... the few friends I have that listen to trance are like your roommate. They only listen to the really popular stuff, like delerium - silence or darude - sandstorm... and they dont like the other stuff, and certainly can't stand a good 5 hour trance party.

But damn... this event looks so good I was so looking foreward to Kai Tracid dropping "Concious" ... such an amazing track, and it certainly has a very deep message. Yet another awesome show missed.
