| Originally posted by RIPassion Hybrid - Finished Symphony is actually in SSX1 on PS2. (on the "unknown" level). That's actually the track that got me into trance... hearing it in that game... I remember searched finished symphony in Kazaa and going from there years ago :P |
Rally Championship 2000 (A.K.A Mobil 1 Rally Championship) has a fantastic mixed trancey soundtrack, check it out
SSX is a snowboarding game (and a very unrealistic, fun one at that) Unfortunately, to play the awesomeness that is the last level (with finished symphony) you have to play through the whole game first... but it's worth it... everytime i hear finished symphony it has added meaning from the track (it's just endless (well, it does end) snowy hills and huge cliffs and trees/caves... really cool :P

awesome. SO you say some are by felix da housecat you say? He only plays house right? Most(if not all)of the songs I hear on MC2 are trance, hmm, guess I should look for the soundtrack.
oes anyone have any clue what song was playing on that "Prince of Persia" commercial. There was a dj spinning with tables.
How 'bout Kaido Battle 2: Chain Reaction (and KB1 from what I've heard). It's a jp drift game. There's some good stuff there, especially the intro song. If I find the name I post it.
I really like the song in the first Unreal level Outpost 3j, but I don't know anything about the artist or the name... Anyone knows how to rip the tune from the game?
Get a music recorder like Creative recorder and set the recording input to "What U hear," which is the recorder for whatever is coming out of your speakers at the time. Click record, start up unreal, go into the game and make sure you have the music volume in unreal all the way up and you can record. Or, if you want the best unreal experience, turn off music volume in game and blast deepsky - stargazer (original) through your speakers while you play
I can't believe no one has mentioned the NES and SNES Double Dragon series
I liked listening to the music while beating people up for no good reason
Man those old games rock.....

| Originally posted by Gholy Host There was a thread awhile back about Trance & Videogames. It got pretty heated in there. I'll say what I said then. Track 5 from the game Rez (for ps2) is this remix of Fear by Adam Freeland that's cool as hell, but the soundtrack to the game doesn't have it (not the in game version), and the original sounds like piss. Anyway, it's a cool track, but one that I can't get my hands on. Oh, and the first time I heard one of my now top 10 favorite songs of all time, Orbital - Funny Break was in the game Frequency. (Only decent song that game had though, including oakie). |
yeah Wip3out is what came in my mind when i saw the topic of this thread... awesome music in there! ... I used to play it alot
I havent played the game but I saw on this gamer TV show that Paul Oakey produced all of the music in the lastest James bond game.
star control II for 3D0
hyperscpae theme song. I got this incredible techno tune right out of good ol' audio galaxy.
I swear if you woke up and had a song stuck in your head from a dream and searched for it on AG by 10pm that same night it would be on your hard drive
RIP Audio Galaxy!!
could you send me the metroid tune? [email protected]
i dont have im :/
also..try to remix the music from the lava level (dont remember the name..its the same music as in super metroid)

some of the stuff from the final fantasy series would make a sick remix....
Like terra's theme from ff3...i'm remixing that as soon as i have any sort of respectable producing talent.
Gouryella - Tenshi is on one of the FIFA games for the playstation, i think its 99, not too sure tho.
Kain - Rain Down On Me (Tiesto Remix) is on FIFA 2004
Ferry Corsten - Rock Your Body Rock & Sarah McLachlin - World On Fire (Junkie XL Remix) is on FIFA 2005
Thers another FIFA with a PVD track on but i cant remember which one.
HL2 has some electronica stuff in it, its close to trance
