Also I am not completely sure where you heard the myth of the koi and the dragon. But it sounds interesting... There could be any number of myths of the koi. But in a most common sense the koi is a sign of good fortune, when you see them eating the cherry blossoms as they fall on the water....In any case it doesnt matter which way the koi is facing. And the koi is symbolic for many things....

Wow! Gorgeous tatoo! I would never get a small design - if I were to ever do something like that, it would have to be something large and flowing with lots of details and color. Out of pure curiosity, how much does something like that set you back? As somebody else already said, it's definitely worth it, but I have absolutely no clue as to how much something like that would cost.

Beautiful tat.

$2-$3-$400 dollars is cheap when your putting artwork on your body that will be there the rest of your life.

Posted by CynepMeH on Jan-11-2005 23:32:

You should consider getting a letter "M" tatooed on each of your ass cheeks. this way, you can bend over and it wil say "M o M" ... or if you had a really excellent orgasm, just lift your knees to your chest and silently say "W o W"

Its cool to have a friend that does work (I have a few) but I dont even go to them. They dont suck, but the best artist( Im talking worldclass artists) you really have to pay for.Horiyoshi III is a world class artist. Any artist can do flash work and thats ok for average ...the badass artists freehand an original piece and your doing serious time under the needle...some wont even fuck around with small stuff.

They have apprentice's for that, and when they do small shit you really pay for it $$$$$$! My buddy wanted a tribal from Dai Wei and he said it was $700...but his apprentice did it for 250. It wasnt worth his time and probably uninspiring because it was just 3 hours of "coloring in between the lines".

Jesus christ. That guy should be banned. I thought this was post your tatoos, not post your hairy white ass. At least he covered up his small penis.

I'm going to my local tatoo artist (Who was influenced by Grand Master Jukirosaki VII) right now so he can tatoo "Asiaphile" on my testicles. That way my girlfriend will have a good reason to kick them.

And don't think i'm prejudice against the guy. That scorpion girl is only slightly less slutty than Paris Hilton.

Yeah i had to book mike 4months in advance. But he liked the project and my legs are bigger than most peopls backs so the project was moved forward. http://www.mikerubendalltattoo.com/ check out his site he does amazing work and is one of the younger tattooist. He has a very unique and modern style. I also have some tradional japanese work done on my arm by Japanese artist by the name of Horiryu. It pretty oldschool a koi and a lotus...+ some otherthings.

Ahh the power of the internet. It gives everyone strength to make comments that in a everyday life would not be made. The internet would be a much nicer place if everyone could track down each and every other person. People then would actually then have to deal with the repercussions of their crudeness.

How can someone who knows so much about electronic music have a girlfriend?

I mean really, you have two decisions. Good taste in electronic music, or girls. Thats the way things go.

You use your tatoo as an excuse to show your ass in real life as well? At the park? In the mall?

I'd carve your eyes out with a fork if your naked ass was within fifty yards of me.

Well I don't have good taste nor do I know a lot about EDM, but I still don't have a girlfriend. That was a joke, and you should get it if you've seen the video of that asian lady kicking some guys balls. Apparently ball kicking is a big fetish in Asia (Japan?).

Along with face slapping, puking, puke eating, crapping, crap eating, school girls, tentacles, tentacles and school girls, cartoons, cartoons school girls and tentacles etc.

Boy, I cant wait to go there on the exchange program!

EDT: After further research farting, and diapers are also popular japanese fetishes.

$2-$3-$4000 dollars is cheap when you're getting crap removed from your body, so that it wont be there for the rest of your life.

I wonder if its true when these tattoo removal websites claim that 50 percent of people who get ink done regret it.

Posted by L.E.N. on Jan-12-2005 03:06:

Because 50% need to be shitfaced to have enough balls to get a tattoo...and they pick the lamest thing to get a tattoo of and its usually flash art...and then come accross some one who has it. Id regret it If I knew someone had the same work I had. Thats why I had it custom drawn and she tore the pattern up in front of me. Same reason I wont show a pic. I spent 2+ years to find the right pattern. You wont regret it if its not an impulse idea. If you still want some thing even after its a year or so I think you wont regret it.

Posted by beats and beeps on Jan-12-2005 03:11:

If I was going to get one. I think I would get a robot...

Or a flower...

No, a robot holding a flower.

And it should be snowing.

And there should be a teddy bear on the ground.

Yeah.

Posted by L.E.N. on Jan-12-2005 03:47:

Good luck with that....If you find the right artist..it might come out good

You have a thing for robots dont you?

i'll post pics later. i need to take newer ones.

Why do you want a picture of her scorpion? Go to any artist and they can draw a scorpion for you.

I found it while researching. You're right, there are many myths of the "meaning" of a Koi. I still think it matters what direction the Koi is facing, I'll try to get more info. My artist is Chris Garver, widely regarded as one of the best in the world. Looks like your artist is pretty good.

actually i was hoping she'd just send me a picture of her ass.

if i was going to get a scorpion tattoo i wouldn't steal someone elses tattoo design, i'd draw it myself. i was just curious to see what hers looked like; if it was realistic looking or tribal, if it was black or colored, etc...

aquarius = attention whores they have to be center of attention all the time...especially at parties and such.

Jester

I'll be honest here, I think people with big tattoos are idiots. IMHO if you have a hard time attracting attention it does not mean you should go and get your skin decorated like a clown.
