I for one, am so greatful to use my local tax dollars, that I thought would be spent on "useful" initiatives such as education or crime, are in fact being spent on making sure the President's congratualtions party will go off without a hitch.

Its funny to hear people outside DC bitch and moan that the city doesn't want to divert its funds... LoL... cute.

As far as crime, I think you're thinking about DC's high homicide rates. Otherwise, the other crime rates aren't far from New York's. So, it's logical to say that if you're not getting killed you have to little to worry about. LOL

Anyway, DC gets more Trance DJ's now that your club scene has shrivelled up.

Go ahead and bask in your ignorance - this is America so you have every right to be stupid.

/Imbecilic Off-Topic Rants

NYC > DC

fuck DC who the fucks wants to live there...homicide? are you retarded? it's clearly that you are...lol go stick to your websites herb

That you're trying to assert your opinions as facts leads me to believe that you really have no argument to begin with.

Anyway, mental retardation is defined as having an IQ lower than 70 - something in which you seem to be a much more likely candidate.

As you would say, "it's clearly that you are." LMAO!

BT, Deep Dish, Thievery Corporation...

If I really wanted to listen to an asshole I would just fart

So how come you don't post on NYTA? If you did you would surely see that there's plenty of action in DC. Heck, a group of New Yorkers are skipping out on Spirit to come to DC next weekend. Oh, wait, you're not 21 so nevermind - you can't even get into the clubs yet. My apologies.

Anyway, I'm done arguing with you over whatever it is I don't even remember now.

All those reasons you just posted are reasons to vomit at NYC.... luckily some of us true headz know the deal. You got Cielo, Canal Room, Sulli, so on and so forth. You gotz the best mothafuckin House music known to man and a small but thriving minimal scene. All these chill cafes and small lounges with some proper fucking sounds.

But DC has some decent talent as well. Buzz can at times throw some ill parties when they want to. Apparently TA's travel to go to Glow but I still don't comprehend why anyone would put their hard earned money into that place. :sigh: Five can also bring some cool talent and throws some chill weekly parties. There is also Red with Saeed on Thursdays. There are a variety of small spots where you can find some decent EDM but they are few and far between.

NYC just has a certain amount of randomness that I love. I can't just go out in DC and be random like I can in NYC and meet chill people all over and whatnot. People criticize NYC for bein' mean thats a load of crap. I meet coolass people whereas in DC all the "cool" bar places and shit all full of fuckin pansyass yuppies who think they are better than the rest of the world because they got some shitty entry level position at some whackass NGO or some shit. FUUUUUUCK them.

WAIT WAIT WAIT ... what the hell is going on here???? TRANCE IS NOT ALLOWED in the PDD!!!! Thank you ... carry on.

/Furthermore if there were a hypothetical trance discussion in the PDD, DC would reduce NY to ashes.

Not that it even matters, but I did have to re-register in July 2001, and then lost a lot of posts when TA had it's database crash.
