Excellent work man!
I love it! Very energetic and melodic - just the way it should be. The pianobit is sweet, and the all the lead synths are top notch!
Give me more!
Cheers
great work i like the spook voices in the bg, everything comes together real nice... mix seeems to sit well, and it was said that the melody lacks punch, but i thing th esmoother feel is what you were going for since it sits fine in the mix as is....
hey, mate....thiss too brilliant, so i'm affraid of saying other things, the main melody is drivin me crazy. Lots of elements are perfect imho.
But theres a possibility to make your track into a perfect one.
i'm seriosly....just work on capital things...this is my peronal feeling
thx
your global melodies are epic naturalllym but sometimes i cannot find any harmonies with some synths, buta .....its kinda Ferrys one, so epic, mf!!!!!

umm that was some piss poor english to be completely honest you sounded like a crackhead rambling on. im not sure if any of that made sense.. it almosts reads like it was sent through a translator lol
wow.. damn this sounds really tight.. the percussions are just top notch.. the bass is cool.. production is excellent.. although i do think the filter on the lead thingie in the breakdown is a little too obvious.. and the track could be longer.. melody sounds very good.. u can really hear this comes from an hardware unit for sure

Nice track. Again, not my style but I can appreciate the hard work that went into it.
1.) I like the kick, the bass is good, could be a bit more "focused"
2.) Overall arrangement is nice, something I realize isn't easy to get right.
3.) The melody just doesn't do it for me, but that's me. The earth is home to 6 billion people.
Every song you're improving. That's the most important part to take from this. In a year, you'll be signed.
Keep it up dog.
Cool! wonderful mate!!! Keep it going man!!! CHEERS!!!!!!!!!
nice percussion!
bassline sounds good!
the first synth that comes in i dont really like, sounds too dry.
that piano sounds quality!
the melody really does come out of nowhere, perhaps a boom kick or a clash of some sort before it filters through would sound better.
the build up is good but it kicks back in to nothing, the energy is lost, pehaps if you added another synth when it kicks back in, the power would be there, just an idea like.
sounds good, not my type of trance though!
<--- me after hearing this masterpiece!
Alanzo! WHOA! How'd I miss this!?
Pure CHOONage! Unbelievable melody! Just how I like 'em! No dissin' just straight props to you bro! Sweet!
Keep em comin'!
really tight production dude, kick is great, percs spot on and the mixing is just right.
i love the way this tune builds up, first the layers upon the wicked 3-octave bassline, then in come the really nice piano + choirs.
breakdown is beautiful, leading into it with the pianos. supersaw melody coming in is obvious but i still love it. for me, when the piano was leading into the breakdown, if it had changed to incporate the key changes that the melody introduces then I probably would have broken down in tears. as it stands, it's alright but a little plain.
but damn man, all that work building up the tune and then it anti-climaxes at 3:00 when it's meant to completely rip! confusion while dancing may be good but so it going completely off your nut.
that aside, the main melody is very good, with really powerful chord changes and synths.
nice work man!
Glad you guys liked the melody. It's an old one I did about a year ago and re-incarnated it into this track.
I've gotten mixed feedback on the melody. It's a somewhat complex one and it takes a few listens of it to be able to follow the progression properly.
Well I finally got time to check the track out.
I think bass would be better if it was a bit more upfront
Around 1:52 when everything stops I think it stops to abruptly and maybe a better transition into the breakdown would be good.
Efx you have going are nice.
Other than that I like this track the most out of the rest of yours.
Keep it up
Great track, flow and structure-wise. I've always had trouble with structure and flow.
The generic saw melody may be generic but it still fits it well. I would suggest adding something when you bring in the breakbeat.... which by the way is becoming a trend and clich, so I'd perhaps avoid it unless it really fits incredibly.
the mixdown is great stuff. there's some sort of element on the left side that isn't balanced by something on the right and it bugs me.
the effects and percussion are great... in all the right places.
I do notice that the ohihats are a tad dull and could perhaps be a slight bit louder. I do understand how you've kept the piano mostly bright to keep it out of the bassline's frequency range, but it could still use some low-mid meat to make it more impactful.
although I'm on cheap headphones, I can tell there could be some more high end in the percussion. maybe some multi-band compression in the low-mids to carry more basslines and upper-end-highs for air. you want to drive the subs if this were played at a club and the tweeters need more info. this stuff is mostly mastering related though.
melodies are great... it's great you're going melodic... seems to be your fort.

didnt know Alanzo was such a jerk...
Standardizing music including trance to follow a certain and percise format makes it less artistic and expressive...
Sebasano
Yes, I know this track is un-original. This one is probably the most un-original track I've ever done (I did that intentionally).
I'm not a jerk. I've just never found feedback like: "d00d, this track is total ch00nage" or something like that to be helpful to my producing. Thus I try as hard as I can to say exactly what I feel about the track. And a lot of the time, I find that the tracks that are posted on TA suck.
You will NEVER find me saying "this track sucks" and leave it at that. I will ALWAYS state exactly why I think it sucks and most of the time how the producer can work at fixing that. If the producer's feelings get hurt, then, well.. f***'em.

Beethoven's music as well as most classical compositions are infinitely more complex and musical than any electronic dance music. End of story. There is no debate. If Beethoven were alive, he would punch you in the face and then take a shit on you. As for this track, I greatly enjoy the percussion. I think the riffs before the build are a bit cheesey. The build is totally a tease! Although I'm really not a huge trance fan anymore, I thought that this track really accomplished what trance is supposed to be: interesting, well produced, and dance-able. |
feels like it needs something when the lead kicks in, but all the efects do come in very clean. I've listened to it a few times awesome track man! got any others?
I never said I was Beethoven, or even implied it. Such a thought is faulted from the get-go. Believe me, there are composers 1000x better than me. But for trance, I'de say I'm quite close to the composition skills of Airbase, Flutlicht, etc etc.
I have more tracks, of course. Check out my website: http://www.musicofalanm.com
