first i heard of him djing was in 2000... he was at some party and the dj ran out on them so he was like let me run back and grab my rekkords and i can spin it. and then he spun it and it was a big hit so he started spinning more and now its rather common. ive yet to hear his sets and ive yet to see any tracklsits to them that look really good. but ive only seen a few of his sets trakclists and they were for radio 1 so .....

he started playing out long before he could beatmatch properly or mix well and still rocked the place.
He was still a great dj even then- simply because of his tune selection and crowd reading abilities.

I have a one sided TP of a boy george mix of missy Elliot- 'All n my grille' - I still play it out today from time to time.

Listen to The Annual III (ministry) which he mixed, its fantastic

Boy George actually got his first glimps of DJ fame by getting gigs without knowing a bit
on how to mix or beatmatch. Guess he has come a long way since then.

Well he's been in the business a hell of a long time, my brother has seen him play in London about 2-3 years ago and as mentioned its a style of Funk/House with some Disco touches, i always likes Culture Club personally and hes a nice guy, very flamboyant though

i remember seeing alot of fliers for him coming to Crobar here in Chicago, but its been awhile. i listened to a DJ mix CD he has out and it was great! every article of his mixing that i have read never complained about his skills. they do mention that he couldnt beatmatch for sh!t @ first, but i'm pretty sure hes got it down now..
