Most women judge men quite harshly in bed, whereas they have heaps on confidence in their own ability, even if they are a dud root.

Sex is one area where most women believe they rock, mainly because men often view sex like pizza, ie there is no such thing as bad pizza. And because most men will do anything for sex and sleep with pretty much anything if given the opportunity your average woman has had nothing but compliments, guys being excited to get into their pants, guys hitting on them everyday, so even your worst lay or moderately ugly girl thinks they rock in bed, and you can imagine how confident the hot attractive girls are in bed, and ironically they are often the worst in bed.

I think it mainly comes down to today's society as women are the dominant players. Many women often expect men to do all the work in personal relationships. Its the man's responsibility to meet the girl, take the first steps, make the first move, take control of sex. Many women are pretty much content to sit back and go along for the ride.

Personally I hate that, and like confident women that ensure its not a one way street of affection and intimacy. And if the girl is too scared to make moves then they need some pushing. Most girls will do whatever you ask if you do it in the right way.

I think that most women will rate sex more for the passion involved than if they come or not, or whether you last 4 hours. If you are constantly trying to rip pieces off them before and during sex, don't take it too seriously by having a little fun, smiling and enjoying yourself, be a bit bossy like tell them 'i want all the neighbours to hear you you, scream louder', 'thats it, thats the spot, fuck yeah', pull her hair a bit, pull your dick out and play with your hands for a bit then start again, and don't do a woodpecker, and they'll be keen to come back for more.

Many women have sex, especially random sex experiences, because it makes them feel wanted and attractive, so work hard to make them feel wanted and you'll get buckets of sex.

to be perfectly honest, i can't really relate to this thread, because when it comes to sex, i dont ever dish out details with girlfriends. i mean first off, i dont really have a lot of close girlfriends, but if i did, i sure as hell wouldn't be discussing which guys are "good in the sack" or talking about my boyfriend's penis cuz it's none of their business...that's very trashy and i dont really care to hear other girls' stories either. i never understood girls who just sit around and yack about their sex life.

so yea, i dont ever see myself complaining about a guy not being good in bed or anything like that. i would just keep it to myself.

eric, i know what you mean about some girls just not being able to open up though..it usually takes me a while to get comfortable, but once i am, forget about it. but i guess you guys are just talking about like casual sex with girls you meet out and stuff. i'm talking about like when you first get involved with your bf/gf.

Works in relationships maybe.. Not first time though unless your one of those guys that likes to bang chicks when they're fucked.

If sex sucks the first time a guys not really going to want to waist his time for another sucky lay and visa versa I'm sure.

You expect us to actually believe that?

Posted by Slylee on Jan-19-2005 23:59:

yea i was talking about my relationship w/ my boyfriend i never understood people (girls especially) who go out clubbing and meet a hot guy and go home with him...or have sex with him after haning out like once. mental stimulation is everything, so if i dont really know someone as a person, then i can't get into the sex.

i dont expect you to do anything...i'm being honest. it makes me feel uncomfortable to sit there and listen about someone else's detailed sex life. it's kind of annoying.

Its even worse if its one of your friends and everytime you see them you get mental visions of yesterday's discussions.

Not feeling a need to talk about it can often mean you are on a good thing, so tis good.

Posted by igottaknow on Jan-20-2005 00:18:

My friends and I don't give detailed descriptions either but, we might allude to a girl's prowess in the oral arts or give her a thumbs up for bedroom nastyness.

Posted by AntronVee on Jan-20-2005 00:29:

Honestly, I think it takes girls longer to learn how to "perform well" in the sack for a couple reasons. Some of them just can't really cut loose for whatever reason, and some seem to think sex simply consists of them lying there. This could be due to the fact that it's very uncommon for guys to go around telling girls they've had sex with that the girl was crap in bed. We tell our friends, but we don't tell the girl...kinda funny, but that's how it seems to work.

Haha, true that...but also cheers to the girls who gasm real hard and damn near fall off the bed. That's just a blast.

Interesting thread, as ive been reading it i picked something up that my gf has an issue with. She is very selfconcious of herself and she thinks im gonna judge her by her physical presence. She has a great body but doesnt think so herself. She feels slightly unconfortable lying without clothes on or anything like that. Can something be done about confidence like this?

Posted by Arbiter on Jan-20-2005 01:06:

Girls get judged as well, but many guys are just satisfied to be getting some and also men are less likely to chat about what they think of their partner's prowess. So you hear about it a lot less.

It has always been my opinion that if someone is bad in bed you should tell them. If they don't want to hear it, or aren't interested in trying to improve, then they aren't worth your time.

Imagine sticking your dick into a wet warm crevice, which creates a vacuum around the entire emerseped portion. Said vacuume gently pulls on the surface area while insertion/removal generates a pleasant friction. Most feeling (but certainly not all) is on the sides and underside of the penis' head.

generally speaking, it's easy to make a guy cum, and it's difficult to make a girl cum. a lot of guys only focus on their own orgasm, thus forgetting about the girls' pleasure. this selfishness makes them bad in bed. also, guys may prematurely ejaculate and go soft. no girl wants a one-pump-chump.

if a girl is just laying there like a dead fish it is probably due to inexperience and not knowing what to do. some girls are really shy about making mistakes because sex is such an intimate, personal activity.

i agree with Arbiter, in that you should tell someone if they are bad in bed. i never understood the point of faking an orgasm. i'd be hurting a guy more in the longrun if i made him think he was the best lover. i've always told guys very honestly (and sometimes maybe too bluntly, lol) what they need to improve on.

i could go on and on about this topic, but i'd rather go have sex.

Hey thats pretty common.

Many girls that a bit uncomfortable with their bodies, and especially uncomfortable nude, can often have trouble orgasming as well, and generally enjoying life, and sex, as much as they could.

Its important to understand that fixing this takes time.

Some of things I can recommend doing:

- Talk about it together. Ask them why they have body image issues, what makes them notice it, what makes it better. Be mature, caring and understanding. Bad body image and low self esteem go hand in hand, and you'll find that it rarely has anything to do with something physical. Quite often people have these problems and then when they talk about it they have a look at themselves and begin to change. Never put pressure on, or make her feel ordinary.

- Try and increase the time spent naked. Like instead of sex being an event, like somone makes a move clothes come off then you have sex and then its over and clothes go back on, make it more of a process. Be naked, even half naked for a couple hours before you have sex, and after if possible, if she tried to speed things up just say that there is no hurry today. This might require a few drinks at first for her to be comfortable.

- Go to a solarium. Girls are much more comfortable with their bodies when they have a tan. White legs are especially off putting for most girls. So pay $10 twice a week and get brown together, its quite good fun to boot.

- Try and ensure that she has something to cover her tummy up with at first. It might be a pillow, but get her naked and let her have a small security blanket at first at least, after a while she will lose it.

- Get a black light for the bedroom. Awesome for sex for girls with body image issues. I've met girls that hate sex in the light they hate their bodies that bad, and thats a real relationship killer. I even had a girl tell me no doggy style if its not in the dark, and I'm sure there are worse cases out there.

- Throw the odd compliment around. "You have such a hot ass", "I love touching your legs", "Fuck you are sexy". Before, during and after sex is a good time.

- Shut your eyes the whole time when you have sex a bit here and there.

Good luck, its a tough one. I knew a girl so self conscious she couldn't even have sex. Her nervousness made her opening squeeze so tight she had to go to hospital after sex. If a girl has a skin disease its often a sign that they have bad body image issues.

so good job...honesty is good hehehe...

Can't girls orgasm quietly w/ their eye's closed, licking lips, thrusting, etc? All girls orgasm differently no (in question is if one can have a "calm" orgasm to the overly eccentric fake ones).

I find you need to use an obscene amount of foreplay to get a girl excited, its like trying to preheat the oven, but for 1 hour. All the while they are moaning and loving it, but there joy always seems to be greater.

Thanks for the advice, i think ideas like talking to her . Shes not too bad its just once in a while she makes indirect comments about it. It frustrates me but i dont show it at all. I just want her to be confident about herself. Shes a beautiful girl and she could be way more beautiful if she was more happy about the way she looks.

I have the best orgasms when my bf sticks his finger in my ass. Sometimes two fingers. He said he put three in there once, but I obviously couldn't tell. We were 69ing and I was wearing stockings and these hot brazilian panties that laced up in the back like a corset.

where was the hot wax?

If I get a nut (expected), that's cool. If my partner gets a nut in the process (sometimes not expected), that's cool as well, but won't really change the way I normally do business. Has to be something going on other than course of business to make things different for both partners I believe.
