yes they're really similar melodies, but that doesn't means he ripped it... its just a coincidence.

of course.
as you know Forever Today was co-produced by Tiesto and classical composer Geert Huinink. just like they co-produced Magik Journey.
what they did in both songs was the same thing. Geert composed the classical masterpice you can hear as intro. then Tiesto produced the second part of the song, the one which has a simple yet effective melody; in Forever Today's case you can hear the resemblance with Lethal Industry. some people think the transition between the classical composition and Tiesto's part doesn't merge well together.
then the final part of both songs is a "remix" done by Tiesto (much probably co-produced with Geert) of the classical masterpiece. listen to both intros, then listen to the breakdown in both songs and you will see that in fact it is a "remix" of the classical piece handed by Geert. that proves no melody from The Termiator was ripped. Geert is a wide background genius and there is absolutely no way he could have ripped the melody. just listen to the classical piece again and you will notice there is almost no similarities with The Terminator melody. Geert's composition is a complex and beautiful piece and the only similarity is a short 5 notes coincidence. the thing is that when Tiesto made the "remix", he strenghted the melody and the 5 notes coincidence turned more noticeable. but it's just that, a 5 notes coincidence and it is unfair to believe and go saying that they "ripped" the melody from The Terminator when it's not true.

No way!!
Seriously people just actually listen to some of tiesto's more recent productions such as Forever Today and basically all of the Parade of Athletes album. These songs may sound nice because they have a decent melody but in terms of actual production its as if they have been whipped together in an instant!
Once you're done listening to Olympic Flame etc. have a listen to Obsession. The difference in production quality is astounding!!!
In silence, no doubt about it, is much much better!
And if anyone is calling In Silence cheap and cheesy how about you get a clue and listen to the Txitxarro Mix.
(Just an opinion mind you...)

your opinion seems to be biased on your thoughts about the parade of the athletes album. we're not comparing his latest works, neither his tune obsession, it's only forever today vs in silence.

Actually i'm saying that Forever Today is one of his recent works with fairly ordinary production standards. When you compare this song to in silence the difference in production quality is noticeable. That is my point.

In Silence
In Silence by far, although Forever today is a good track, the transition between the orchestral piece and the rest of the track could have been better. Tiesto mixes Forever Today into In Silence in, I think, Just Be's Release Party in Amsterdam last year, is that what gave you the idea?

no, i actually got the idea from the "Official Tranceaddict Tune of the Year" polls. i wanted to prove it was all a complete farce, and these results prove it. the supposedly "Tune of the Year" is loosing against a tune which wasn't even inside the 40 nominees.

My vote for the Geert Huinink production, like djallure said i dont like the transition between the orchestral piece and the rest of the track.
to be sincerous i DON'T like the rest of the track (i think is when tiesto put your hands in this record
)
Personally the same thing happen to me with Magik Journey.
Also In Silence is an excelent track but forever today is a far better IMO.
