yes, the bass is only with soft-synths. there are 2 layers. the top layer is a pro53 with lot of delay and reverb and the 2. layer (subbass) is the v-station initialization patch (called "bass1")

thanks alot - excellent bass. that pro53 setting is factory preset, or u create it yourself?

ok.. here's a try with a software-lead: http://www.solarproject.ch/linked/s...ation)_soft.mp3 (it's z3ta+) it could still be better but it won't get near a good hardware-synth.

and here's the bass-patch for pro53: http://www.solarproject.ch/linked/H...ss_SP_Pro53.fxp

heres mine. all software:

http://fileserv4.soundclick.com/fas...sthesialead.mp3

its 1 x vanguard (for the bass and lower mid range sound). 1 x reaktor ensemble [rb2k's jp8000 ensemble. brilliant peice of work] (the top end and upper mid range end of the supersaw sound).

the effects are all internal fruity. a fruity phaser on both instruments. fruity reverb and delay on both instruments. the reaktor ensemble has a fruity filter on it and ive graphed the cutoff cuz i cant get my virus to control the filter cutoff pot. i would have used the filter on the ensemble itself but i was too lazy to go round my mates and instead got him to send me the wav over soton uni's very fat pipe. i will however do this when i get the time.

i didnt hear the original sound so i cant really recreate it very accurately. im just going on the fact that it is a supersaw + phaser + filter. if you could repost id like to make an exact replica of that sound.

I attempted to do it with the pro-53, but the filter wouldn't go down and then I tryed it with automation but I failed there too. I need to find a VST with similar sounds with the JP-8000. Like z3ta but I can't get those supersaw sounds out of it.

Does anyone have hosting space where they can host the synaesthesia sample? I used all of mine on cjb.net. I'll be glad to send anyone the clip though

My Aim Screenname is: Pyster2k5

Btw here is my attempt for the Synth I made it with z3ta, not exactly sounds like it but the filtering out is perfect. It's all in the LFO and Modulation, also filter placement. If I knew how to make a good supersaw sound on z3ta it would of sounded awesome.
