W3rd. I will.

We'll be in another universe for sure come WMC.

The Bend of Time....That was a unique place to say the least, and the orphanage...that was creepy...but intriguing.

Chrono Cross was an awesome game I passed it many times to get the different endings...I would do it all over again.

An excellent read:

I've always felt both games were solid. Great stories, very original. As far as SNES music goes, it was very infectious.

I know alot of diehard CT fans that just can't accept CC for one reason or another. I pity them. Actually I don't, because they end up being assholes when the subject comes up.

I recorded my favorite tracks from ChronoCROSS onto MiniDisc one night and went out with some friends. We went to get high on a beach, and I had the CC MD with me. When I blazed up and walked on the beach at night, the music made me feel like I was in the game...Absolutely the best time I ever got high, and I owe it all to ChronoCROSS.

I Did something very similar. I had a burnt copy of the ChronoCross soundtrack with me a couple years ago for my commute to college (train then walk, takes about an hour total). Wasn't planning on getting high that day, but after an exam, we had to "celebrate". It was the most displaced walk through downtown Toronto I ever had, and I loved every minute of it!

Heh, I'm a huge die hard CT fan and I love CC to death.

Indeed, Chrono Trigger is the shiznit. I loved that game, almost as much as I loved Final Fantasy 6. Ah, the good old times...

had to bump this cause i just played and beat chrono cross.
id give this game a 8 out of 10 at best. its a great game but there are times where the story gets boring. the character development kinda blows for some characters, and its amazing and in depth for others.

serge:hi my name is serge, im the guy that died here like 10 years ago.

girl: really, i had a friend that died here like 10 years ago. his name was serge!

serge:well thats me, would you like to come with me to the mountains alone?

girl: sure!

i found that part sooo funny. this sounds like an episode of americas most wanted lol. there were also some very odd characters to choose from.
the music in the game is amazing. that one violin track i dunno the name, but id just sit there and listen sometimes.
overall i still like ff7, and xenogears better.

Did you get the 'real' ending?

(spoilers involving ending ahead)

if you mean the ending where you have to cast elements in a certain order. then using the chrono cross killing the last boss, freeing that little girl. then yes i did get the "real" ending.

the game was very linear till chronopolis.thats when it got good, but thats like the last few hours of the game...also serge with the mastermune, and glen with the two einlancers made the game more enjoyable.

Yep, that ending.

I LOVE that ending...the music was so captivating I recorded that on MD (MiniDisc) as well.

Thought I'd bump this up:

In the left side of this pic is a ChronoCROSS clock I got when I first reserved my copy of the game back in '99:

And the games which are in the title of this thread, of course:

I didn't pre-order Chrono Cross... but I did buy a copy the first day it was out so I have myself a non-Greatest Hits game. Hahah...

Personally, that was my favorite part in the game. The music, the visuals, even when the clouds cleared over that place... Still gives me shudders.

The violin track when you're on the map in Another World, is what I'm sure you mean.
