the bus is thinking about retiring. i'd like to see him play another season but he's getting pretty beat up so i doubt it he'd leave the steelers. and i think he's been on the steelers his whole career so i dont' think he'd leave them to play anywhere else

Bettis started out with the L.A Rams
I dont know how the loyalty is in steeler land but I mean even Emmit Smith after all he did with Dallas was let go.
Nobody but the Bus knows whats going to happen right now, but I think he might give it one more year, and Bettis played really well this year so I doubt the steelers will let him go.

Exactly. Im not a Steelers fan but I would like to see Jerome back atleast another year.Hes done alot for this sport and to top things off the guy is one of the most humble players ive seen.Remember that he was the back up to Deuce Staley and noone wouldve thought he would have the year he had.

Definately feel bad for Bettis and the whole defense. They really put their all this season, but the problem was ben and he let his team mates down really bad. Its a major embarrassment when in a AFC finals you get beat by twice the score and your opponent's defense isnt caring that much

I lost all respect for the BUS after his little "spike" of the ball after scoring a TD, WHEN THERE DOWN 3 TOUCHDOWNS.......YA........let's go nuts BOYZ, we're only down two touchdowns now........he's a dick.....

let's not diss the bus .. he's a great football player, and has made a 'mass improvement' since his early days .. he was good back then, but not as great, because of his weight issue and his tendencies to have asthma after long runs .. and he had a good college career at notre dame .. can't beat that .. ..


but a guy who is not really getting his recognizable notice these days, because he has been in the slums forever, is curtis martin .. (sorry verndogs for calling the jets the slums, and the pats of the past the 'slums' .. .. hhahha) .. anyways ... he is 33 and still running hard .. i hope he goes and breaks emmitt smith's record, because i see martin deserving that record more than emmitt smith (even though smith had all those great games of the past .. who can not forget that game with the seperated shoulder and still running hard .. it takes a real man to do that..)

Dude they are playing in the AFC championship game and yes they are losing bad but still alot of time in the game and I think he was just trying to boost up his teammates. I see nothing wrong with what he did.Not like he s Moss or TO that only give a fuck about themselves.

I think Curtis Martin is probably the most underrated player in football. All he does is get 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns every year, plus he is a classy guy on top of it all.

As for the other morons, I didn't dispute that call that the knee was down, I disputed the unnecessary roughness. Get it right, but you've proven your brilliance on this board.

You guys crack me up, especially the idiot who thinks we only know anything about hockey. Actually NFL and NBA are my favorite sports. You kids need to grow up and accept other peoples opinions.

I still think the reffing was horrible, I still think Tom Brady sucks. I still think New England will lose to the Eagles. We'll see next Sunday won't we.

I don't think Tom Brady is a good quarterback. I think he is hugely overrated. I think he is an average quarterback at best. He has a good defense that helps him immensely.

Yes I know Big Ben has the same thing but I think he is average at best too, but he can get better as he is only a rookie.
