death to wog's!
jokes aside, there's plenty of racism here in the north of england imo.
im not racist at all, but i do occasionally make racist comments.. for laughter purposes- nothing that i know would really offend anyone, and definately no meaning behind it.
anyway..

Well, your intelligence might lead me to believe you are one.
You do realize, however, you called me 'mate' first, and I was simply being facetious in response. Apparently you didn't pick up on it.

Over here in the American South the racism can get pretty nasty, there are some organized hate groups in the state, the klu klux klan still marches every year in a town that is within 2 hours of driving from me.
In the more urban areas it is much different. There is a big racism backlash agains white dudes, to the point where the colleges favor minorities and women over white guys with equivalent qualifications.
Thats all old news of course, Ive only had maybe one or 2 encounters with any sort of racism while living here(I've been here since I was 7 years old, now I'm 20)
I dont believe that this affirmitive action is the way to make things fair, favoring minorities isn't the right way to encourage diversity.
I'm not too upset about it though, I can understand why other races would want special treatment having seen the situations that some of them get stuck in.
What I am curious about is how Americans are treated when they leave the country, there seems to be strong anti american sentiment all over the place. I'm a mixed breed with a french last name, white skin, and an American accent, and I would like to get a job in canada or europe in a few years.
Any specific places someone like me should avoid?
