Ya this is all over the news The press was getting in the way of the police,fire, medics when they were trying to save people trapped or injured. They were trying to stop and ask them questions when they clearly had more important things to do The anchorman was complaining about them, saying the police had no right to tell the cameraman to back up. Idiots.

Murder Charges for Suspect in Train Crash
(AP) - The suicidal man who authorities say caused the chain-reaction train derailment that killed 11 people has been charged with multiple counts of murder and could face the death penalty, the district attorney said Thursday. Juan Manuel Alvarez, 25, left his sport utility vehicle on a railroad track Wednesday after changing his mind about committing suicide, authorities said. He was held without bail at a hospital's jail ward after apparently slitting his own wrists and stabbing himself in the chest.

i live right by the railroad tracks....but where this happened is about 3 mins away from my house....i woke up to come to work...only to be anoyyed as fcuk by the helicopters flying all over the place......i thought it was maybe the weather or something...cuz it usually dont rain too much in LA.....anyway...i get to work....im bored, so i decide to come on TranceAddict...when somone from the local forums posted the link to the CNN news.......

fuckin guy man! just like some of u said....if ur going to take ur life...dont take countless others with u!! what pisses me off the most is he fuckin chickens out!! now he will do time froever wishing he had killed himself! traffic was soooo bad after i got off work...took me like 20 mins to move about 60 feet! anyway....i wish the absolute best for anyone involved in that crash!

I wonder if he'll get charged with attempted murder as well.

In any case, it's not important what happens to him anymore, and there's not much we can do about those who unfortunately died in the crash either. Those injured will heal, and carry on scars to remember how precious life really is.

All that we can do is realize that death can come at any moment, whether we want it to or not (or whether we think we want it to, but then not want it to anymore).
