One benifit of being a (massif) dwarf is that I can buy my clothing at children's stores and save money.

Osh Kosh B'Gosh is my favorite. I love my conductor's overalls.

I try to get the bargains, i never go for the brand names. The only thing i dont mind paying a lil extra is for those sneakers. Gotta love the sneakers!

Im with Alex on this one.. im all about the Old Navy now... never have been, but bought some jeans and longsleeved shirts in there over xmas when I was shopping for another person on my list... the one is barrie wasnt a zoo at all... but OMG, yes, awesome prices i mu5t say... i was impressed... where the hell have i been the last several years ? LOL

I hardly EVER shop for clothes, just dont like wasteing alot of money on new clothes shit... the only exception is Oakleys of course... i love my oakleys... I have no worries spending 200-300$+ on a solid pair of sweet looking shades!

RJ, those things are the height of cool, my friend!

Will we be seeing you in those at Ultra Spin 6/7 this weekend ?

Posted by starsearcher on Jan-27-2005 17:15:

Speaking of ultra spin I hardly ever wear any of my nice clothes to the guv simply cause I know I'll sweat a lot, my shoes will be stepped on 100 times not to metion that i'll step in shit 100 times and it'll stink...So when I go to the guvy I jsut wear some t-shirt and a pair of jeans with a pair of old pumas for comfort

yay

I swear by the "dojo" fit. I always have a really hard time fitting through the ass, thigh and waist all at the same time. Dojos are the only fit of jean I have tried on EVER that are perfectly proportioned for me.

They are wide leg and low rise. (the lowest rise of all seven jeans)

Posted by AwakenedAddict on Jan-27-2005 17:18:

lol, I was thinking of wearing my old Pumas out on Sat @ the Guv, cause I know they'll get dirty and I won't care. But I've got this new pair of DC's that I want to wear out b/c they have way more padding on the sole.. I just hope they don't get mad dirty tho

I also like my LV wallet, belt, keychain set

this is so contradictory.

LV is the most overdone brand on the market and has been for a very long time, far more than UGG boots.

Posted by j_spot on Jan-27-2005 17:21:

just put shoe protector on like an hour before you go out, and then wash them with a scrub brush the day after. its how I keep my shoes white(until this damn salt slush comes around)

Posted by AwakenedAddict on Jan-27-2005 17:24:

True, but they are leather/suede so I don't think I'll have too much trouble cleaning them off...

I actually put my foot into a cake (with my new DC's on) on New Years which resulted in a 1 cm thick layer of frosting on my left shoe! Only stain is on the laces tho :-/

LV is highly overdone...especially thanks to all the fake stuff and knock offs...i's like EVERYONE has it Therefore, due to this reason, and my undying love for Tom Ford (heterosexually speaking) I bought my mom a Gucci wallet for her b-day

Mmmmmmm love Gucci.

LV is good though I've got nothing against it, but since everyone has a knock off it's kinda annoying

Thats why I don't go to clubs that have a "style code"...Makes no sense to wear nice clothes only to have it ruined after a nite of parying.

Goin back to this thread though...I like my hoodies...I must have like 25 different ones

I dunno, it was my friend's B-Day cake, and it was made by two girls who don't really know their way around the kitchen. So I assume it was the cheap variety

Thumbs up

Burberry purses are also way overdone. So glad I didn't buy one last year, as now they look outdated.

That being said, I think the burberry check is classic and I would invest in other pieces - a wallet, a scarf, or clothing of some kind. It's just the purses that are on their way out.

Also, the juicy couture velour track suits have GOT TO GO. Thankfully, that fad seems to be dying as well.

Posted by starsearcher on Jan-27-2005 17:42:

I don't like Versache....it's way too flashy for my taste

I love love love D&G and more elegant stuff too...

Where it the fashion king DJ Hordash when you need him

And yes Juicy is no good...waste of money if you ask me, they have SOME nice pieces but the overall general concept is brutal I don't like it either.

Posted by j_spot on Jan-27-2005 17:42:

juicy is out, lulu lemon is in.

Aritzia, over the rainbow, Club Monaco now carries a huge selection as well. Ask specifically for the dojo fit - I find their other styles are very slim fit.

There is a store in Halifax that carries more washes of the dojos than I had ever seen....I had no money at the time though, otherwise I would have bought one of each.

Sevens in general are the most durable clothing I have ever owned - the non-stretch denim absolutely DOES NOT STRETCH. THe jeans keep their shape extremely well.

Ok, I will stop my ranting now.

Yea, but the Adidas ones are still Sah-Weet!

I like D&G sunglasses. I would love a pair of those. Maybe I will make an investment in the summer time. As for their clothes, not so good. T-shirts are ok.

Well, yes and no. LV isn't ugly as sin, where as UGG's are
