I'll be there for sure! I was just in playin in Ontario at a TA party, and it was cool. Lots of people showed up, got to hear different DJ's, everyone was there havin a good time.

It's going to be difficult for me to select the DJs for this event, there will only be room for 5 or 6 people to play. I'm not exactly sure how to go about this, maybe it's fair to select from the people who have been members for the longest time? Submitting me a current demo would also be a good idea. Please let me know your ideas on this as well. At any rate, I'm going to have a discusion with the owner in person tomorrow to assure that we can guarantee a better turn out than the Karaoke night (which shouldn't be a problem). I'm pretty confident the night can be a success if we get flyers and word out soon. I'll also see what kind of drink specials I can get us etc.

I suggested a combination of danny veto power and TA vote, since its us who will be the primary supporters of the event!

In other words danny picks 1-3, and the rest of us vote in people the remaining slots.

I think overall though, the demo idea is good. Maybe demos to fill most of the slots and we vote in someone to fill the last special spot or something. *shrugs*

depends who plays. everyone has a different style. i don't think any two djs that are worth seeing in this city have similar styles at all. and although styles may be similar in some cases, track selection, flow, transitioning style, everything, there just are no two of a kinds.

majority will be everything from prog house to uplifting and hard trance and everything in between.

Demo's is a good idea but where do we host them?

Danny should have a huge say in who plays and when but people should also voice their opinions by listening to the demos.

If anyone has a place to host them, please let everyone know so we can post them up and get some feedback.
