I'm sorry, but Deep Space Nine blew goat nads and enjoyed it. The entire series just reminded me of every episode I HATED from the original series and The Next Generation - you guys know the ones I'm talking about - the ones where there were NO fist fights, NO space battles, NO far-out scientific theories, NO hideously deformed new races, just gut-wrenching syrupy DRAMA about characters and lame love stories that we were never really interested in studying to begin with.

All you DS9 fans had better realize that you're creaming yourselves over what was essentially a long-running series of NERD-CHICK FLICKS.

Um, are you crazy? DS9 had many epic battles. That's why I liked it so much.

The fight scenes between the Federation & Klingons vs. the Jem Hadar were amazing.

Diana Troy was hot when TNG was around but I can't even look at pics of her anymore. That hairstyle and make up is horrible.

Posted by LittlePoonzgirl on Feb-04-2005 01:37:

We all know TNG was the best

Mind you, TOS had many fun moments...Tribbles

Oh, and I think 7 is much hotter than Troy.

"wahoooooaw"

"it's ok chewy!"

Lieutenant Natasha "Tasha" Yar (Denise Crosby).

Yeah, the black blob thing ate her, but she rocked.

Best episode - Tie between "Mirror, Mirror" (TOS) and "The Inner Light" (TNG).

OMG, Those battles in particular are the BEST i think we've EVER seeen from a Star Trek series...

I mean, I Loved some of the borg battles in TNG (they are classics!!!... Wolf 359! OMG!) And the new borg voyager battles w/ the Borg were very phat.... but NOTHING is better than the visual amazingness of the federation and klingon vs. the dominion battles... theyh were so huge and so complicated... and u really got a good sence of their true proportions...... they just blew me away...

personally, i lOVED the borg vs. species 8472 battles... and FLUIDIC SPACE>.. i LOVE that! I Love the idea of these other dimensions, so cool

like that episode where the "Travel" comes... and tries to convince Wesley of his destiny, thats he's a Traveler too or something.. and then the ENterprise goes to the ends of known universe or something, and theres all this fucked up stuff outside the ship thats not like space but something else...

^^^^ who else loved that shit besides me ????

Tribbles are sooooooooooooooooo you! I can totally picture you wanting to have like 10 of them! -- all males or all females i hope though, u dont wanna open up THAT can o' worms again... breeding + tribbles = bad, VETTY VETTY BAD!!!!!!!!

Posted by Jem_hadar on Feb-04-2005 04:49:

Ok, whut are the KEWLEST ships though ?

My money , besides the Borg or Species 8472 goes to the fuckn Romulans... I LOVE the Romulans (although I dont like whut they added to background in the latest ST movie... it just made them appear weak! )

Man, serious! NOTHING beats a fuckn Romulan Warbird... those things are MASSIVE...

how how about how cool their engines are... they operate on a totally different principal the the federations... somthing about singularities powering them ?? I cant remember exactly, its been awhile since i watch ST... but the old love and memories are still alive and kicking apparently, this thread has taught me!

I like all the chars. from DS-9,.. Also "Q" and Picard from NG and Janeway and Chakotay from Voyager. Never watched "Enterprise" (gritty realism + sci-fi? why bother?!!)

Add Mr. Neelix to the list of most annoying ("roadkill" hairdo)

A guy I used to date (industrial musician) said Denise Crosby was born in S. Ontario. But I dunno if it's true.

I 100% Agree.

I thought Janeway was a great captain! Ok, her voice was a little annoying, but you get over that, and damn! Imagine being lost in space and having to keep to the prime directive? She was great.

I thought the tribbles should get an honourable mention as one of the most annoying characters. Damn those tribbles!

Funniest line from DS9 was when Sisko had a baseball game goin with the crew on the holodeck...The DS9 crew was outfielding & taunting the other team & Worf yells out..."Death to the opposition."

Posted by MarkT on Feb-04-2005 17:33:

I like how Worf's favourite drink was...prune juice (thanks to his adoptive human parents)

i remeber that episode. its when that vulcan captain that sisko hates comes on board DS9 and they have a game between the senior officers. great episode

1. Q
2. data
3. locutus

every time i look at my bookshelf and see the STAR TREK ENCYCLOPEDIA, i want to kill myself...

Posted by Tordan on Feb-04-2005 22:40:

My fav star trek character would have to be Picard because he was a roll model for me.

As for series, TNG and DS9 are tied. The only reason I even watched voyager was for 7 of 9. Enterprise just sucks monkey balls.

Posted by Mercedeh on Feb-04-2005 23:04:

I fucken love Star Trek!!!

7 of 9 is the hawtness

The Borg are pretty sweet too!

*watching voyager right now*
