Yes Scarborough is very ghetto. BUT!!! I used to live in the BEST PART , right by the UofT Scarborough campus. The best place to live in scarborough is south of Ellesmere, east of millitary road. There's alot of old houses and there's no crappy apartment buildings. My parents just sold their home, and they tell me that if the same house was anywhere else in Toronto, they would have gotten a much better price for their home.

Jane and Finch is sooo ghetto. I worked as a cell phone antenna installer one summer. They place antennas on top of apartment buildings. The apartment building at Jane and Finch are the scaryiest buidlings. They have wanted pictures in the lobbies. We used to have to work nights hooking up the antennas to the cell network. That means we had to shut off people's reception at night. No one ever worked nights at Jane and Finch. Too dangerous.

anytime people say they live or grew up there, and think that's "badass" or something...I laugh. Sure, it's not a nice place...but to suggest you're all hardcore because you lived there...
