So what .. I might download some stuff, but then I work minimum wage, pay bills and this week

I SPENT ABOUT 150 DOLLARS ON CDS!!! BOUGHT SOME DETROIT TECHNO CLASSICS/RARE TECHNO CDS! I GOT OVER 600 CDS IN MY COLLECTION NOW, BYATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not including a big bunch of MP3s too.

Without those MP3s, I dont think I would have ever bought any of the stuff I got this week

As for Bittorent, I tried it, the piece of shite doesnt seem to work for me, piece of junk, I havent been able to download a SINGLE bittorent while I ALREADY tried 3 different programs

Well, I just finished high school and I got kicked out by my parents. I worked part time at couple jobs, so now I am stuck until I figure something out or until someone helps me. I dont know what to take in college, but I got diploma. Getting a 'real job' in my situation is not an easy thing. Who's gonna pay my rent while I got to college and pay for college?

True, I just got very frustrated by it, and I am also restating what I've been told by some people about this way of sharing. I dont know too well how this bittorent thing works anyhow.

Well anyone who tells me that it sucks doesn't know how to use it, be it because of not forewarding their ports or just not giving the torrent enough time to speed up or just not knowing which torrents work and whatnot.

It works just fine for me and I get speeds up to 300kb/s.

well.. that basically means that ur service will be terminated if they catch u again..(personally.. if they knock on the door.. i'll simply secure delete the files)

also.. i would recommend that you get Azureus(or how ever u spell it).. and get the safepeer plugin.. keeps you away from RIAA/MPAA ip ranges..

But if Bittorrent is being stupid and doesnt work. You can always try a new program out there called "Exeem". Its kinda like Ares or Kazaa except it uses a bittorrent idea. Or something like that.
