I wish they'd built one in the east end. Going all the way to Sheppard and Leslie from Whitby is a pain in the ass. They're cheaper then anything like the Brick or Leons, or the Plaza full of furniture stores along Thickson Road.

Give Durham Region an Ikea! then we don't have to make a damn DAY of it.

I recall reading about a stampede last year at an opening of a new IKEA store in Saudi Arabia.
According to the article it wasn't the bargains or the discounts that attracted so many people.
