Anyway, trance makes me feel like I'm in love! |
Let me put it this way; watch the video of Johan Gielen @ Trance Energy. If you don't see how fucking stupid epic trance is by watching that, then you sir, are a moron.
No wonder people laugh at "ravers".

but arent you yourself a raver if you listen to techno, trance or infact any form of edm. A raver is someone who attends raves, or actually dances. if you dont dance when at a club whats the point in going?

Infact I don't go to clubs yet. And even if I did, I wouldn't be a fucking pussy putting my arms in the air holding a cigarette lighter/glowstick/fluorescent dildo. Goddamn, that's worse than candy ravers.
Now go watch that video, and laugh at the 10 000 assholes being... well, assholes during Rank 1 - Airwave (Breathing). Fucking comedy. Keep your eyes on Johan, too. What a ****.

well if you dont go to clubs yet how can you say stuff about these "ass holes"?
even the old trance heads who have now moved on to other genres will agree that when that big breakdown happend the first time around and your all loved up in a club you feel wonderful.

First time? What about the 50th time? In one night? Damn... I mean, playing anthem after anthem is just fucking lame.

Man, you are young, haven't experienced enoughYou go to a club to have fun, to dance, to let yourself go. The best music for that in my opinion is Trance, I prefer psy trance actually but uplifting trance would be fine aswell.
Its hard to enjoy yourself and let go when in the background you have the dark, serious, atmospheric moods with minimal beats and classical melodies. You need something light, danceable
Once youre the right age, get yourself some nice drinks/drugs and enjoy yourself in the club to the sounds of tranceyou will have fun, trust me.

"Trance inspires me to kill people."
Sounds like a good line for those supposedly witty, faux-alternative t-shirts sold in Target or Hot Topic.

Think it's from 03 or 04 (can't be older than that, since he plays Breathing?). I saw it yesterday on some trance channel on Winamp, and I was like "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha!!".
EDIT: Come to think of it, it was the "10th Edition".

Inspires me to keep spinning the music I love. To express my emotions through muzik itself. Like someone else stated some songs can just make me breakdown and other times it can make my day about 10 times better than it was before.
Too many to state but after I got the chance to play live a girl I didnt know told me afterwards she was having one of the worst days of her life but once my set was done she felt like all of her problems went away and she was finally just happy.
Once you get that kind of response just for playing the muzik you love for a handful of ppl..it can inspire to spin the best you can and continue to bring the muzik to as many people as possible

Seriously dude, who the hell are you? If you hate trance so much why the hell are you even on here?
I really think that you're only (closeminded) opinion is based on this "1" video! I don't think you've ever been to a rave, party, or even a dance event. You sound like a young kid who has nothing better to do than trash the things he dislikes rather than accept the reasons people "DO" like them!
So you saw a video that you didn't like? Did you talk to anybody that attended that party? Did you see anymore than the 4 minutes of video from 1 DJ? For all you know, that could've been at 7am and everyone was trashed from dancing ALL NIGHT LONG... and why, because they feel things about that music that kids like you couldn't possibly understand!
I guess that's the reason 10 000 "RAVERS" attend events like that, so people like you can have a laugh! Happy now?
And when you refer to people laughing at ravers... WHO GIVES A SHIT! Seriously. You obviously care what other people think about you, and you don't belong in the scene AT ALL!

Ravers, partiers, whatever... we attend events with our hearts on our sleeves, and if you think that makes us pussies, then I'm afraid my friend that you are the pussy... because you are afraid of what people think of you!
Do us all a favor and never show your face at a club or a rave... it makes it so much easier to respect the opinion of someone that knows NOTHING!

trance inspires me to spread the wealth of the genre upon my friends by spinning for hours on end. amazingly enough it works now and then
