can anyone get me the phone number to this club so i can call and get info about tickets and such. I cant wait to see nu nrg and hope to meet up with some fellow tas. I have met a few tas before in my trips to dallas and to houston to see pvd.

I'll definitely keep you in the know mate. As soon as Dave and I find out what's happening we'll spread the word, as lots of people want to know what the deal is with tickets. There had been talk among the club's managers of not having any presale because of all the bullshit that comes along with presale tickets (club getting full then people complaining that they aren't let in cos they turned up late etc)... which I have mixed feelings about, but we'll see soon enough.

well thats fucked up,if im driving in from louisiana for 7 hours and cant get in then fuck yeah im going to be pissed as all hell. They need to have presale tickets and those who dont get in should have bought their tickets ahead of time, not the clubs fault.

That is my argument exactly. There are many people coming from Dallas, Houston etc for this show and they need to be assured entry. I'll talk it over with the managers and see if we can make a compromise, like presale tickets only GUARANTEE entry before 11pm or something along those lines. Do you think that's fair? I'll see what I can do.

Has there been any shows in Austin lately that HAVE sold out? I think even for Paul van Dyk they were still selling VIP tickets at the door.

My vote is for pre-sales tickets. If your venue holds 1000, & you sell 200 presales, that means you let 800 people in at the door, & hold the remaining 200 for the presales, right? I think it only gets dicey if the venue tries to over-sell the venue & lets in 850 same-day people (& collects the admission of the 200 who paid presales). That means 50 presales people show up, denied admission, & are going to be ticked-off.

That's what happened to me in NYC, & it still pisses me off--bought a presales ticket, & was refused admission. But Austin's not NYC.

I remember the Ferry Corsten show in Houston having presales good till midnight, so maybe that would work.

yeah presale till 11pm or whatever u were saying. I just would be very upset if i drive 7-8hrs and cant get in. Tell the managers people are coming in from baton rouge louisiana for this show. I cant wait for this, we need to have ta meet up outside the club.

This is like right up the aley for me, glad i dont have ot travel far for a good show. But i tell ya what...theres gonna be alot of for me and my friends. See ya people there.
