Sasha was at AMIKA last night. A friend told me that they had great time. I would have been there but my trip to Amsterdam cleaned me out.

sasha friday nite was in rare form...

heard a kraftwerk remix, a daft punk remix, orbital---halycon (on and on), and a whole bunch of shit i couldnt id for the life of me (just the way i expect a sasha set)

jimmy van m opened, also saw sean cusick, ak1200, and a bunch of other 'names' hangin out plus loads of people from all over florida...

sasha with his maven controller for ableton last nite was one of the best dj sets i have heard in my life...period....he was absolutely spot on with his programming and effects, and was grinning from ear to ear most of the set jumpin around like crazy...unbelievable tracks and transitions...how the fuck he does it is beyond me (his programming skills)...i guess so many years of reading crowds he has perfected his kraft...

its fashionable to hate on sasha but he is so far ahead of everyone else in terms of dj skills it is unbelievable, if you don't agree, you haven't seen sasha when he is really going off...when he wants to he can destroy a crowd like no one else!

no one else even comes close

FYI: Sasha bored me once. For DiMethGuy's sake I will say nothing more on that matter.

And around here it has become obnoxiously clear that you can't have an opinion on a DJ most of the time. A person says one thing wrong about Sander and you have a whole pack of arsewolves on you. Fuck that. It's a crock of shit. Someone I know, who went to BOTH Sasha AND Sander this weekend, who does have a more open mind to music than me, said that Sander SUCKED Saturday night, and this is someone who LOVES house and other genres, unlike me. That person didn't post that becuz they KNEW that you Sander whores would gang up on them. Well, enough is enough. I wasn't there to judge either event, but if Sander sucked by this persons's words, then I'm going by that.

I choose NOT to like Sander becuz of his style. I don't like what he plays. I don't bash him so deliberate, but if you're gonna attack me for having an opinion on him, then by God, I will retaliate.

but seroiusly if you dont like sasha just dont talk about him.. i dont listen to tons of djs.. i keep my way out of discusions related to them.. not feed a fire against them
