Would you really?

We get enough of him on the East Coast cons. Especially the upcoming Otakon in August. I'd probably go on the Saturday and Sunday since it'll take him at least half of Friday before he gets kicked out of the Baltimore Convention Center.

Maybe it's just me.. but I actually think that if you are going to wear a outfit.. you should atleast look good in it.

That's very true.

Unfortunately, the majority of the people that indulge themselves in anime and manga are ugly, obese females and acne-covered, hentai-watching nerds. Go figure.

I had a bad experience at one of these things.

Me and my friend dressed up as a couple of generic characters from a generic show, which geniric anime fan girls liked to write about being gay.

So we dressed up, and went and pretended to be gay. At first I was like oh fuck its all fat chicks omfg they are taking our picture, wtf are we hugging eachother and posing for fat chicks for.

However he assured me that it wouldnt be in vein, and that things would turn around.

Well oddly they did, all of the sudden at the mid point of the day all of the fat chicks like dissapeared, it was so weird, its like they were just gone, and all of the sudden there were many decent looking girls.

I don't know if either of our intentions were to get girls, seeing as neither of us persued any of them...I think we both just liked doing it...you know for fun...

Never again.

I was the best lookalike ever though, man no dying my hair, no face makup, I already had the hair. He had to get like this fake hair shit, but not me...I was born into that roll.

no, it doesnt stick out. I used a bit of hairspray, but I didnt attempt to make it look exactly like its drawn, I mean I don't feel that the point is to look like the character does on paper, you know just look like what that character would look like in real life.

I guess it was easy, because I mean its not like he had pink hair in spirals, or something.

I'm 6'2, skinny as a stick, pale face, and long hair. All I needed to buy was a pair of tight faded jeans, and a navy turtle neck.

Oh yeah I got one of those half clown masks things...you know like he had.

The best time of my life?

First attending Summerstage 2003 (that was only PvD back then) on Thursday and then attending Big Apple Anime Fest 2003 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the same week.
