Darkside of the Moon is the great album of all time, hands down.

Posted by jonSun on Feb-23-2005 00:01:

Wasnt Dark Side of the Moon on the top 100, 17 years strait.? Anyways they rock.

Posted by Lumps on Feb-23-2005 00:01:

OMG to everyone who recommends the sync with The Wizard of Oz is hurtin. That is the dumbest shit I've ever heard of (and saw). I think there was only one part in the entire POS that actually sync'd with any significance. Don't try it, it's a waste of time.

^^^coming from TA's self proclaimed master of cheeba.

But yes, Pink Floyd is great.

Fav tracks -

High Hopes
Learning To Fly
Time
Comfortably Numb

Favorite Pink Floyd song - Fearless

I recommend for anyone who hasn't heard it.

Smoking ..umm..something

Wicked post......

'Time' has always been my favorite song by Pink Floyd right next to 'Comfortably Numb'. The soundscapes, the messages.....its all there!

- dark side of Oz isnt that cool hehe. Youd have to be retarded to think its some crazy conspiracy. they barely match.

anyway yeah im a huge fan of the very idea of the social wall and Goodbye Blue Sky is another big fav + all the ones you all have mentioned. These guys have been part of my life for a long time hehe. Very inspiring to me.

then again, i was extrodinarily high...but that doesn't matter.

it rocked.

dude dark side of oz rocks. you probably didn't do it right. there are a lot of places it syncs up...you have to listen (being high doesn't hurt either).

my friend was telling me the wall kind of syncs to alice in wonderland. look, this sounds dumb, but ALice in WonderLand (AL in W L = WALL) get it? meh. whatever.

Roger Barrett: I wonder what would happen if I took a shot of liquid acid.
Roger Waters: I don't think that's such a good idea Syd.

Roger Barrett drains shotglass, disappears for the next 5 years

You fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then the one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's
sinking
And racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in the relative way, but you're older
And shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled
lines
Hanging on in quiet desparation in the English way
The time is gone the song is over, thought I'd something more to
say

I love these guys. I think its my favorite album series ever created. Such a brilliant commentary.

i tripped out to pink floyd once.......amazing!
