Oakies old sets TL
Tiesto, PvD, Sasha

J00f.

Hands down, no questions asked. Tracks that noone else has ever heard, banging throughout, throws down some wicked classics and underrated monsters just when its needed, never trainwrecks.

Wow, I'm surprised there's so much agreement in this thread. If we're judging on track selection alone, I would go with John 'OO' Fleming as well.

Well, I think we'll ALL take your word for that one.

Oh, and Tiesto btw.

not only does he have a nice path in his sets (starting of with some dark and slow progressive stuff, going up steadily to harder trance and finishing of with some banging psytrance) he also have a flawless trackselection

Agree 100%

I saw them last night, they played 4 of their own productions and the rest old tracks (It was a trance classics night!) like Universal Nation by Push, Full Intention by Megara & DJ Lee, Cosmic Gate with 'The Drums', that song from Safri Duo. Goddamn they tore down the place! And if they play only own productions, they still have a nice trackselections because 80% of their productions are AWESOME!

John 00 Fleming is one of the most overated DJ's out there imo. He try's way to hard to be different, usually done by playing a bunch of unknown shitty amateur tracks just so he can be known as the only one to be playing them, and subsequently making his playlist 'unique.' But there is a reason he is the only DJ to be playing these said track's; They're shit and noone else wants to.

hah I laugh at you!
Ever heard J00Fs essential mix from 2001? I doubt.
Can you name any of the tunes J00f plays in his sets? would be fun to hear.

Yes I have heard his Essential Mix from 2001, I was listening to it live at the time. I've seen him live 3 times now and have been bored to the point where I have had to go and sit down to wait for the next DJ to come on. I don't really see what reeling off a list of tunes I recognise from his sets is going to achieve but since you insist:

Astral Projection - Mahadeva 99
The Digital Blonde - Gothica
Astrix - Life System
Kuffdam and Plant - Seduction
Steve Porter - Definite Form

Is that enough? I can't think for the life of me what the point in me doing that was but I hope that I provided you with a bit of 'fun' that you were expecting to hear.

so now compare his stuff to all 100000000 armin copies out there. who got the most interesting track selection?
oh why bother when you dont even like the dj :P
he may be overrated in your eyes but propably the most underrated DJ in my opinion
