Jesus Christ, I've got a huge headache now after checking out the "handy" feature called "Viva Colours" on the left...
...let's not even mention the rest of the site.
Jesus! That site gave me a headache and almost gave me a heart-attack
The old site was too plain and just dull overall and this new one is just way too flashy to the point where I feel like I am going to start shaking on the floor

waste of space.
don't use gradients.
ugly trash.
Shitty website but I still luv VIVA....great sound & lighting which is more then some clubs in downtown T.O.

wow..
listen, if you need a proper website, let me know alright? I can set you up with something.
In 2002 and 2003 VIVA had 1000-1200-1300+ people every week and now VIVA has like 300-500 people on average and 600+ is what would be considered a really busy night now so if that isn't a decline then I don't know what is. Mark Oliver's supporting cast is not what it once was DJ wise and there is an international DJ once in a blue moon and even when there is one then the level of internationals isn't what it once was.
Every time I hear house being played at VIVA it makes me wanna puke and I have stated that before
A couple of years back I would travel to VIVA on trains and busses for like 2 hours and know that the trip would be worth it and now I can drive there and be thinking to my self "why am I going so early when Mark Oliver doesn't come on till around 4am?" and "I hope tonight doesn't suck"
I know for a fact that Kenny Glasgow wanted to do at least a monthly residency thing at VIVA but I guess VIVA was too cheap to do something about it
. Now its just Mark Oliver for 3 or 4 hours with no supporting cast and then Filo and Peri every 8-10 weeks and then...........?
Ask Jayx1 if VIVA hasn't declined since 2002 and 2003?
You puke when you hear house yet you want Kenny Glasgow to take residency?
HUH?????
I think Viva could do more to promote themselves and I have told this to management repeatedly. Other than that I think it's a great club. Sure the website could use some work but that has no reflection on the club itself. As for Mark Oliver, dont blame the DJ if crowds are less. If anything his music just keeps getting better.
OOOPS I better stop. If i talk too negative im full of myself but if im too positive im ballwashing
BTW back in 2002 and 2003 it was pretty much ONLY mark oliver with rotating appearances by walter rosati and goldfinger and the place was rocking (with the exception of the odd one off events where they brought in guys like fergie)
In this day and age, there is no reason why the website should not reflect the club itself. Any form of advertising should reflect on the venue. When I go visit that site, it just makes me not wanna go to Viva at all.

The funny thing i just realized.
If you were to listen solely to the nagative people on this board when it comes to clubs, you'd swear that every single one of them in Toronto suck.
Boa sucks, Guv sucks, System sucks, Viva sucks, This is London sucks (OK that place really does suck LOL)
Seriously folks, get a grip.
Each place has its advantages and disadvantages.
