For those that went before, how does this whole thing work? Where is it, do you camp out, what are the age limits, any other info you feel is important?

I checked out the site but no details on DJs for this year. Also they didn't have an event page for 2004! It's as if the last WEMF was in 2003!

I always first get the info for this at the detroit electronic music festival which is the american long weekend in may.

Its definitely there - just click on the yellow banner ad in the WEMF section - that is last year's site

As for this year we are down to waiting for the last two contracts and are then 100% ready to rock. SEB's will be out near the end of April for 24hrs and flyer info out in early May

I'm so psyched about going to this. I went in 2003 and I had an amazing time. Wasn't in Ontario last summer when it was going on so I wasn't able to go, but I'm going to try my hardest to make it out this year.

Not to mention that I've been so out of the loop lately with work and all that I haven't been coming out at all. Great place to meet some TA's that have been around for a while now but that I haven't actually met.

Last year's WEMF was awesome & the venue was one of the best i've been to...Hopefully it'll be similar or even BETTER ...When I was @ ReConnected I ran into Dr.Trance & I think he told me that he will be "retiring" @ WEMF 20005...You can thank that man for keeping the EDM alive...But yeah Johan Gielen was one of the main reasons why I went last year

And you're right. Last year's location was sick! We have good party grounds up here in Collingwood!

I know ill miss not having it at home this year, but if its in Barrie... hell, thats real close too!

I sure hope that the Windsor crew will be able to get together and go to this! I've never been to WEMF, but I've only heard good things. I hope Johan Gielen will be there again...he's one of my gave DJs, and I've yet to see him. Judge Jules too...I'd definatly like to see him too.
