listening to a mix and cd by Sasha, and i just dont like any of it, its just too dreary, sad and dark with no happyness or good feeling to it, same goes when i listen to DnB

Also, Sashaesque and Digweedish prog (boring garbage, with some exceptions), gabber, happy hardcore (except some of the tracks), noisecore, speedcore, crapcore.

*Waits for Ory's "I hate trance" comment*

Oh yes. If you can even call that utter shit a genre. Stuff like Rezonance Q and Ultrabeat is the worst garbage ever to come out of the UK in years IMO. Wonderfully fitting name for the genre however, as "scouse" in generally a derogatory term.

Yeah, those really aren't my cup of tea either. I don't necessarily hate them, I just can't get any enjoyment out of them.

I hate to hate any genre, i rather dislike or ignore them. I really couldn't care less about genres, if i like a track it could be whatever genre and i really wouldn't care.

I guess most "*whatevah* -core" and "hard *whatevah*" genres won't get my attention.. i still do have occasional hardcore/gabber/other random genre sessions tho to remind of the days when i actually listened to them alot..

That kind of contradicts your avatar, as a lot of the stuff on the Perfecto label can be classified as Progressive House.

yes but you're also 16/17, and it took me until i was 21 to really appreciate it fully, so there's still time where you might end up seeing it in a different light

lol 'scouse' is hardly a derogatory term, anyone hailing from Liverpool is a scouser and should be proud to be so. But yes the music rather poorly reflects on the City. Its associated with scallies (which you get everywhere in the UK) and is rather cheaply made with little or no imagination at all.

Track after track is churned out usually by the same people or groups, namely Mike Di Scala, who has his fingers in every pie it seems. (and eats a lot of them judging from his wasteline). Hes part of Ultrabeat, Maximum Hustler, BCD Project, Rezonance Q, in effect a large portion of the Scouse House scene.

But the genre is being slated in the city too, with bars/clubs attempting to move away from it into others sucha s Funky House which attracts less desirible customers.
