Actually I was having fun from the minute Sasha came on at 1 until we left... I would have had just as much fun had I stayed sober because the music was that amazing. Seriously.

On the other hand I was miserable from like 11-12 in that little room with the pounding shitty music, and from 12-1 when the opening DJ spun my favorite song to freak out and dance to and I didn't even dance because his flow was so bad, man that guy SUCKS But Sasha turned it all around in 1 minute, BIG SMILE on my face... and got bigger when Zabiela came on...

fucking amazing music last night.

sick breaks James. It was nice to meet you too- (tall guy in horizontal striped sweater).

sasha's 1st set was unreal. and how about that crazy fucking opening thing he did before the 2nd set???????

sandstorm the 1 thing i agree w you is that not many people were dancing... a shame since the music was BANGIN... sasha looked pissed about it too... before he started he was really friendly and talkative shit but after he stepped down he looked pissed and had nothing to say.

Arc is in a league of its own, and should not be joined in a sentence with Spirit. Spirit's vibe is weak.

yea it wasnt that the music was aweful, the croud just stunk. and there wasnt a place to just sit down, and listen to the music, unless u had access to the vip couch behind the booth.

sasha def looked pissed, he smiled once or twice while i was jumpin around, other then that didn't look like he was havin much fun. Before i left though it looked like he took a little bathroom break, and was messing with something infront of his mac, maby a camera or somethin? he was just messed up

do you see the date up top? im not talking about any other night. Ive heard that the lighting, and sound absolutely sucked the other nights.

Posted by Vlad on Mar-05-2005 23:47:

When Im there for Sander K and Morillo, the sound was just fine - and if you go to clubs to look at nice lighting, dont even bother going to a club, save your money - stay home, blast music and flicker your lights.

most innovative dance style of the 21st century is the break-head-on-neck-joint imho

obviousely im going by what other people said. why dont u just stay home and listen to everybody to with the lights on. that will save money also.

sasha should have played more of the style of his first track(if it wasnt the last track of the opener), The acid line/fx tore shit up, it sounded like he used the same effect multiple times in the set.

Lol, very ignorant comment.

Yea okay everyone shut up. Sasha and Zabs rock it. Negative attitudes do not. Before I bust a cap...

in live he prolly has about 50 or soo effects along with rhythms and basslines which he can layer on top of a given track at any time. I also im sure a lot of producer have given him parts of their tracks to manipulate... Last night he seems very fond of a laser synth effect which IMO was awesome...

yea thats what im talking about! i love that stuff! Sasha also seemed to play some stuff with some high bpms, closer to 138 at times

No way.

I don't think BPM's went above 130 all night. It's the thick basslines that make the pitch seem higher than it really is.

lol, they were definately much higher then 130 at times . ive gotten prety good at guessing the bpms, 130 is quite slow. Its easy for me to judge by just how fast my legs are moving I always thought the bassline, is basically the pitch? I know thats what i count most of the time...

LOL yes!! *insert barfing smiley*
At this point we were so bored of his no-flow set we started making motions like saws and hammers like in the video for that song... and then every time it said "push me" my friend & I would shove each other, things got pretty violent lol... thank God Sasha saved the night...
